I have a feeling Diaz is going to remedy alot of Cotto's offensive discrepancy's going into this fight by placing an emphasis on that money punch. It's also a treat to see how well he's helped Cotto develop his right hand. No doubt Floyd knows this, and can counteract much of Cotto's arsenal with his own lead right. It won't stop Miguel from using the jab the way he did with Oscar. This fight is going to elevate Cotto.

Cotto has looked great with the right throughout his career but only at random it seems, he lets it lie dormant and every now and then (waaay too far apart) reminds u he has it in the locker, never have i seen it used better than in the last Marg fight though, total Cannonball right that would have troubled many fighters with "normal human" chins! Lets hope he makes use of it again vs Floyd because as we know he needs toi bring his A Game and everthing he has ever learned into this one....

Ive kinda noticed that, especially when he is standing his ground/walking people down, he seems to have his hands a little higher leaving his body open.

What i have really noticed tho, is when floyd gets caught with a hard shot to his head, he brings his arms and elbows all the way up to cover, leaving his body open. All of his opponents go into a frenzy just trying to land another head kill shot, which floyd blocks/slips/etc. Cotto just needs to kee his cool, picking his spots and placing head and body shots.

I am intrigued to know how they'll sell this. I mean no, I know the fight will sell blah blah Cotto is one of the biggest attractions. But.. How will they play the story?? Will floyd create a rivalry and go at Cotto, try to tell him hes gonna give him the same beating Marg gave him without plaster or will it be a peaceful and respectful buildup.. ? If they somehow create a rivalry it would make the fight that much more exciting. Cotto is gonna smash floyd even this post-Pac version of him.

The funny thing about this thread. Most think Floyd will win. But for some reason Floyd doesn't want to step up in the ring with pac.

I wish Floyd has more confidence in himself as to how these people who voted for him winning has confidence in him..

Seems like an easy fight according to the voters here.. But do you guys wonder why he doesn't want to step to the plate and fight pac?

Perhaps he really saw something in pac's style that will give him a lot of trouble.

Floyd knows pac isn't a walk in the park and he can lose..
