My saying is styles complicates fights. Anyway, I also know that size negates skill. Mayweather was simply too big for Marquez. It had little to do with skill because if they were the same size, mabe the three solid and well-timed right hands Marquez landed would have mattered. He knew that before they even stepped in the ring. Manny and Marquez are the same size meaning that Mayweather SHOULD be too big for Manny but Manny is a special little fighter who is able to do things he shouldn't be able to do. I look for Cotto to be very competitve in this fight. I know it will be a better fight than some expect. What do you believe will happen in the fight?

It will be quiet interesting if they really get to fight with the 8oz gloves because Floyd has said numerous of times that with these gloves he would've stopped OLDH. He shouldn't be underestimating Cotto's power at all.

I agree it will make Cotto swell faster, but 8 oz gloves at 154 help out Cotto's power more than it will Floyds. Floyd's got balls, no CW small glove I've always had respect for him in the ring but aside from the Marquez incident he's a class act and respects the sport. Hopefully he'll get remembered for this and not his circus act antics.

If he catch Floyd with constant multiple liver area body shots. As Floyd already point out, he's too much of a sharp shooter for Cotto. Cotto doesn't get his punches off quick enough even though he has good timing, but Floyd still has superior timing. Floyd isn't that explosively fast, but his timing is what makes him look faster than he really is.

read my mind, I was thinking how could he sneak a bat onto the ring? **** he better call margarito and get that plaster recipe. I just don't think that there is a legit blueprint to beat mayweather, the only thing I can think of is to use the jab a lot and see where it goes from there.
