Cotto has gotten smarter and that's what you need against Floyd. De La Hoya always struggled with boxers the same can be said for Mosley. Castillo is the smartest fighter Floyd has ever faced and he struggled with him terribly. Cotto is also still a well rounded fighter and he was in the Olympics right after Floyd. So anyone who says he has no boxing skills are complete idiots, because he does. Floyd is better defensively but I think Cotto is more versatile sure he can't attack like Manny or defend like Floyd but what makes it work for him is he does both pretty well and he mixes it up in fights. Mosley said it the post fight interview. Saying Cotto was a strong puncher but could box and was very SNEAKY.

Im not expecting it no. He only really does it when he is looking to do severe damage and unload with the Left, give his opponent another offensive look. Against Mayweather it would be seen a mile a way, he only really throws the big left hand when southpaw, not gonna work against Floyd im afraid. They're pissed that more people are picking Cotto to beat Mayweather than Pac beating Mayweather. Actually I think they're more pissed at the fact that no matter WHO Floyd was to fight from 140-154, he would be the favorite.
