I will sell more than 1.2 million PPV's though. Pac sold 1.25 Million with Cotto in Nov, and I am willing to bet that Floyd will outsell him with Cotto, especially since it's on Cinco De May and will probably have Alvarez on the card as well.

So, that's 84 Million in PPV buys, plus the 16 million in MGM tickets, and whatever Cotto's guarantee will be.

I could see him making 30 million, which is more than Pac has ever made. What's funny is that Manny was offered a 40 million guarantee and Koncz, as well as Floyd, confirmed that the backend money was definitely negotiable, yet they didn't want to negotiate.

lets say 100 million is the total gross..so 30 million goes to cotto and 60 million to floyd?..lol.
how about government taxes which from what i understand is about 30%(corporate tax) of the net total....how about promotional expenses....promotional cuts, etc...

the numbers just aint possible man....

it aint possible....30 million for cotto so that would mean atleats 50 million for floyd...where are they gonna get that 80 million just to pay the fighters....

unless thye are expecting this to sell around 2 million buys, the numbers are impossible...

You could say maybe 25% will be Dish TV HD purchases so that's $43,718,750, that'll cover Cotto's guarantee alone.

Then you have all the other PPV providers and the movie revenues and the clothing sales and pretty soon, you have a ton of money on your hands.

I know then HBO gets a share of the remaining before it goes to the promoters, but is it really HALF of whats remaining?

From what I understand, they actually take more than a half (yeah, crazy). Then HBO gets it taste. The remainder is what is divided. But there are other revenue sources to consider.

nor eveybody is going to buy the HD..even if they did and sold 1.4 mil..(yeah lets go maximum..lol)

1.4 mil x 70eac =98 mil minus 25% of that = 73.5 mil
16,000 x $1000 eac =16 mil ..iam sure MGM would want some of that monet too...let's say 25% =12 mill

85.5 mill ..how about corporate taxes which is 30% net i think...

even you put everything on maximum , it still not possible man....
