There are revenues from tons of places, sponsors, international TV, movies, closed circut. And, other more where revenue comes into play.

However, again it would have to break all revenue records for this to come true. Because, I'm pretty sure if Cotto minimum is 30mil then Floyd minimum has to be at least 60mil.

true but then agin theres a lot of things that needs to be deducted form the total gross itself...like tax(which is from what i know is 30%, tho not sure) promtional expenses, etc..

and i agree with the rest...

88 million total gross....how about the government tax, hbo cut, promotional expenses, etc....

              just not possible....
I will sell more than 1.2 million PPV's though. Pac sold 1.25 Million with Cotto in Nov, and I am willing to bet that Floyd will outsell him with Cotto, especially since it's on Cinco De May and will probably have Alvarez on the card as well.

              I am guessing 1.35-1.4 Million PPV's.

So, that's 84 Million in PPV buys, plus the 16 million in MGM tickets, and whatever Cotto's guarantee will be.

I could see him making 30 million, which is more than Pac has ever made. What's funny is that Manny was offered a 40 million guarantee and Koncz, as well as Floyd, confirmed that the backend money was definitely negotiable, yet they didn't want to negotiate.

I cannot see that Cotto is going to recieve a 35% share in a fight with Floyd Mayweather. I have a hard time imagining Mayweather giving a non-Pacquiao opponent over 25% of revenues.
Also when calculating the revenue for this fight, realize that PPV numbers that we see aer only US PPV's. There will be international money. In addition, I would imagine that Golden Boy Promo's will put this fight in the movie theatres as they have done with their other big PPV's, and that they will earn a few more million down that avenue.
As this fight gets closer and people see 2 of the 3 biggest boxing stars (in the U.S.) this fight will do BIG money, if I were to guess, I'd say it does around 1.4 PPV buys like Mosley-Mayweather did. Shoot Dan Rafael speculated in todays chat that it could do 1.5.

Lets say that's true. the cables and satellite companies get anywhere from 40-50% of that number man.

Plus if Cotto is getting 30mil minimum revenue. Then how much is the minimum that Floyd is getting?

You think it's going to make that much money? Really?

And, you don't know if this is more than what Pac is getting. First of all you don't even know if Cotto is getting, 2nd you don't know how much overall Pac has made. You can assume, sure no problem. But, you do not know for sure.

                    35%?

That's much more then I thought he'd get. Good for him.

You gotta account for HBO taking at least half of the PPV earnings so there's no way for Cotto to make the 3o million unless the fight breaks the PPV buy record.
