Diaz is better than Roach? What do you base that on, the fact that Diaz is Cuban?

[Your thread is going to get deleted and you can't read the rules, so I'll respond to this here since I've seen this drivel posted before but didn't have the time to.]

I'm a Floyd fan and I've said in the past that Cotto's damaged goods, guess what, I still think he still damaged goods but I understand Mayweather's rationale which is why I think he chose fighting him at 154. Miguel Cotto is the third highest grossing PPV star out there, so he has a fan base and so does Floyd, their fight makes sense for economic reasons but in terms of being competitive I doubt it will be.

Cotto's been tenderized like a pound of ground beef, he still has a little fight left in him but so does hamburger before it's put on the skillet.

The only reason we're here is because Manny Pacquiao is a Top Rank fighter, just like Cotto was, Cotto couldn't fight Floyd until he was free from his contract. Similarly, Pacquiao will never see Floyd in the ring until he's free of his contract. This isn't rocket science, this isn't linear algebra, this is about simple economics and contractual obligations. Folks on here are always hungrily looking for reasons to criticize Floyd, so much so that logic never passes through what they're using for brains.

If Cotto fights Mayweather in the pocket he's going to get dominated and possibly Ko'd if he fight smart stay on the outside use his jab run off combinations get in and out pot shot him move away use good lateral movement confuse him box and move all night long I think he has a slight chance in winning

How is Floyd going to KO/TKO Cotto when he only throws 35-40 punches per round?
If Cotto elects to stay in the pocket and fight Mayweather he has a great chance to win by KO

Mentally Cotto is better. He hasn't just been forced to quit in the ring vs Margarito. Physically and technically, Cotto is the same fighter that Bob Arum wouldn't allow to fight Mayweather at JWW.

Cotto at JWW, WW or JMW, the outcome will be the same... Mayweather vs Gatti.

I forgot where I read this theory but it makes a lot of sense: Floyd was not intending to fight Pac in May, he just wanted it to appear that way to get his sentence pushed back.

If the ratings for Pac-Bradley and May-Cotto suffer, it's gonna be because of this. After being "teased" with the possibility of the big fight finally being signed, a good amount of people realized how fed up they were with the bull**** that the "businessmen" in boxing feed to the public.
Do you have any idea how ridiculous this sounds? How would Floyd know the judge would acquiesce to his request?

I predict a late stoppage by Floyd, he will frustrate and break Cotto down

Put your e-points where your mouth is. If your prediction come true; I'll send you a billion e-points. On the other end, if you're wrong, then i get to clean your clock and gets all of your points. Take it or leave it!
