Honestly I think he should go back to Steward for the Mayweather fight.

Mayweather/Cotto is going to be a replay of Cotto/Clottey minus the illegal use of heads and open wounds.
Mayweather will still have his fast hands, but isn't as mobile. Clottey is probably one of the few that can emulate his handspeed at this current weight class and size. He fights with a high guard and the shoulder roll for his defense. He will be in the center of the ring the entire fight because I don't think he has the legs anymore for a marathon.
Cotto had a rough time penetrating Clottey's defense and had to rely on counters to score points. Cotto will need to work on breaking through that guard and getting around the shoulder roll.
So my pick is Clottey. Give that guy 50K and he'll help get the job done

I think he should stick with Diaz, they seem to be a very good match. I think Diaz really knows what he's doing.

Does anyone know when tickets go on sale?
Hi all!
Does anyone have an idea of when tickets go on sale for the fight? Is there a way to sign up for MGM ticket alerts? 2 friends and I are flying over from Ireland for fight week and are keen to secure tickets.
I should add that, although I am a huge boxing fan and a daily visitor to this website, this is my first time posting. Personally, I find that all the talk of '*******s', '*****s', and 'haters' to be mind-numbingly tedious, and it appears that this small minority let down the majority of posters, who engage in intelligent, balanced boxing arguments. Boxing appears to be a sport that induces people to speak extremely disparagingly and negatively about the fighters, if they show even a hint of weakness. I find it really frustrating!
An example is when Sergio fought Paul Williams for the first time. Instead of people praising both fighters for a great effort and battle, comments like 'Williams got exposed', 'He's a punk' etc were all too common. These guys put their lives on the line for our entertainment and sometimes fans can be too harsh on them. Guys like Kermit Cintron and Zab Judah deserve criticism, because they bring the sport into disrepute with their cheating antics, but I really think that boxing fans in general are far too negative and critical of the combatants. Even after reading through this thread, I can see comments dismissing Cotto and ridiculing Mayweather for 'running away' during fights. This is all ridiculous, bitter nonsense. Well, that's my rant over hehe. Are there any boxing fans out there who agree with me on this??
Peace
Jack
