When your cutting muscle and water weight not fat it takes a toll. You clearly have never had to make weight for boxing or wrestling or you would understand.

A persons body can change a lot in 5 months and like as been asked so many times, why ask for 145 if it wasn't going to affect Cotto.
Because when you're fighting a smaller guy it's normal to compromise on weight. And now you're the expert on Cotto's body who can determine that in the 5 months between Clottey and Pac his body could no longer handle the cut? LOLOLOL

Having to lose 20+lbs in 8 weeks and then draining another 10lb his going to take a hell of alot out of someones body especially after doing it multiple times.
Sure but his best wins were at 140 lbs too... The same goes for Cotto his loses and bad performance came at 147 but his best wins were 147 as well..
And if you want to talk about Hatton performance after moving down back to 140, one of his best wins (against Malignaggi) came after that..

But think of it this way

Floyd vs marquez did 1m ppv

Pac vs marquez did 1.45m ppv buys

          so it works both ways
Pac vs marquez numbers were never oficially released, all we got was Bob Arum claims who known for B`sing people. And Floyd Marquez did 1.1 million buys.

And you don`t have no crystal ball just because you say Floyd/Cotto will get around 1.3-1.4 mill doesn't mean it will.it could be way more then that for all we know.

Are you telling me that the 3 lbs does not affect him, while the 1lb from Cotto does..So you are telling me its nothing for Pac while its draining for Cotto.. lol..
You can't compare Pacquiao draining about 8lbs from his fight night weight to Cotto draining about 15lbs. LOL

the pacquiao fight was very, VERY, high tempo, and miguel still only started to really run at around the 7th or 8th

cotto was in great shape, he ate alot of punches and threw alot of punches, you have got to be a very ****** individual to think he was weight drained, truely, the fight went 12 rounds where pacquiao gave him not a single chance to rest and he was stopped on his feet

even pacquiao was feeling the pace

No sorry, I've only had to cut for kickboxing so clearly you're the only person allowed to talk about weight cutting.

Some of Pacquiaos best wins are below 130 how well would he do making that weight now? Fighters find it harder to make weight and move up it's common knowledge to any boxing fan.
