people simply overrate their wins, especially Vitali. Vitali only has around 5 good wins in his whole career. Wladimir at least has about 10.
but guys like Joe Louis and Ali had a ridiculous amount of wins over top opposition. Even Tyson in the 3 years he was champ ended up with as many good wins as Wladimir(so far) has in his carerer.
Wladimir just needs to keep fighting top guys and he will eventually rightfully earn his ATG status.

I only ranked the ones that were above average and yes I meant to put Thompson in there, my bad. Brewster was past his best when Wlad beat him. His first loss said more than his blowout win in the rematch did. Wlad dominated pitifully until mysteriously running out of gas. Brewster did'nt even land when he supposedly knocked Wlad out. Watch the tape.
his wins over Peter, Thompson, Brewster, Byrdx2, Chagaev, Ibragimov, Chagaev, McCline, and Chambers are his good wins. thats it. no one else was a top fighter in the division, I dont care how pretty their records were, that doesnt make them a good win, because I could show you limitless guys and hasbeens with good records that are currently no good at all. those 10 fights above are ten guys that were top fighters in the division, and its a good list.

Plus, there's a strong case that Vitali has actually never been beaten and not only has he never been down & holds the record for the highest KO% of any heavweight champ in history, he also has the best + - connect ratio. That says something. The way Vitali is fighting right now I would say that probably nobody in history could beat him outside of a lucky punch or injury.

i actually think tyson.
I feel Tyson is a better fighter than Wlad, but resume wise, he could be worse.
This is obviously a lame bait thread tho.

in reality, Vitali has only KOed 71% of the good fighters hes faced. which is actually still decent, but you cant wish away him quitting against Byrd or getting his face torn apart by Lewis.
