With the exception of Wlad Klitschko, all those fighter have beaten other all-time greats. The Klitschkos are probably the unluckiest dominant boxers that ever lived. Don't get me wrong I'm a fan of both K bros. but they haven't beaten any hall of famers that will be remembered forever by future boxing fans. Vitali had a chance, when he fought Lennox Lewis but well we know how that turned out.

Still a better win than the Klits will ever have.

They have longevity, dominance and volume though.

Did you know that Wlad only faced 6 fighters with losing records?

Since facing Axel Shulz in 99, hes gone 28-2 with 16 title fight wins. You may have noticed that this is the 3rd most HW title fight wins of all time.

              His wins include victories over:

              Schulz when he mattered
              Barrett when he mattered
              Byrd x2 when he mattered
              Botha when he mattered
              Mercer first to stop him
              McCline when he mattered
              Peter while undefeated
              Brock while undefeated
              Ibragimov while undefeated
              Chagaev while undefeated
Chambers coming off of two stellar wins

I would say that is a great resume and anyone who says otherwise has a lack of boxing knowledge.
the highlighted are the only wins you listed that were actually good. Mercer was 41 years old and way past his best(although I enjoyed the offensive performance Wladimir put on him)
Botha was never a top fighter, let alone when Wladimir beat him
Barrett was never a top fighter, unless you think goofy Whitaker is as well.
Schulz definitely wasnt a top fighter when Wladimir beat him.

however, you missed Wladimir's wins over Brewster and Tony Thompson, who were both somewhat highly rated when Wladimir beat them.

not a bad record at all, with about 10 good wins. but you do realise that guys like Joe Louis and Ali beat about 30+ good fighters, correct?

That's what these people don't realize. The Klitschko's are so dominant they don't have the opritunity to beat other ATG's. Sure they can go fight and destroy Holyfield and Toney but they have respect enough for the sport to do that. And for those to say something about Vitali vs Lennox, just go watch the fight again. Vitali basically dominated aside from a decent right hand and a couple well timed uppercuts in the clinch. Lewis was on his way to getting stopped and refused the rematch after being so confident he won after the fight. That really says it all. The Klitschko's would've been competitive in any era. Especially the ones of today that are seasoned and mostly prime.

they dont have to beat ATGs to be great.

people simply overrate their wins, especially Vitali. Vitali only has around 5 good wins in his whole career. Wladimir at least has about 10.

but guys like Joe Louis and Ali had a ridiculous amount of wins over top opposition. Even Tyson in the 3 years he was champ ended up with as many good wins as Wladimir(so far) has in his carerer.

Wladimir just needs to keep fighting top guys and he will eventually rightfully earn his ATG status.

Sure they beat a ton of good fighters. But as far as great fighters? Wlad has somewhere in the neigborhood of 40 'good' fighters on his resume'. I only ranked the ones that were above average and yes I meant to put Thompson in there, my bad. Brewster was past his best when Wlad beat him. His first loss said more than his blowout win in the rematch did. Wlad dominated pitifully until mysteriously running out of gas. Brewster didn't even land when he supposedly knocked Wlad out. Watch the tape.
