In MMA when fighters take too long to not fight, the ref tells them to fight. Just in like in Boxing, the ref tells you to fight if you're not fighting.

If your rule was put in to play, Haye and Harrison should have been DQ'ed and we would have missed Haye's 3rd round KO.

So no, anything can happen in boxing.
but then Haye would have won that bet on himself and Harrison wouldn't have been able to get his cut of it.

Say Dirrell in the Froch fight, and Dirrell in the Abraham fight.
Boxing off the backfoot seem's to be Dirrells style, I don't know if docking points would force him to stand his ground.

It looks ugly, but you'd probably end up DQ'ing him.

This is what has killed boxing and yet HBO continues to overpay chumps that run and hold for 12 rounds while calling it "skill".

We all know who these chumps are.

Point well made my man!! Sometimes its like some people on here want a fighter to not fight in a way that gives them the best chance to win.

I have to say even though fighters should know how to cut off the ring. That **** Dirrell pulled vs Stevens was downright disgraceful.

i just think as a fighter they should be proud enough not to go in and fight like a coward

easy for me to say though im not taking any shots in the ring lol
If you call Dirrell's style "running" then 'no' they shouldn't deduct points for that.

I happen to like his style.
