      whats running to you? worst thread ever. when you train and you box and you come up with a style and you actually fight and compete then you can say what they could do or not do.


      but ontopic they should warn and take away points if someone is not punching at all and is jsut avoiding being hit then yes. but if your talking about guys who box and jabbing and using the full ring then no

        There is a thing called a scorecard in boxing. If you're running away, judges should take note. Sometimes, a fighter needs to recover or survive though, so his punishment would be losing the round. No ref's point deduction is necessary.

              There is a major distinction between holding and running. Holding involves physical contact. You don't see taunting being penalized do you? How about a when a fighter goes into a defensive shell?
