Bernard Hopkins at it again: "The Klitschko Brothers Are "Just Lucky"

Also there are no sources outside of Bernard Hopkins that would say that he was walking at around 160, neither that he actually had a size 27 waist. I am pretty confident that you also dont know what a size 27 waist looks like, since even size 29 waist on a 6 foot + adult makes him look malnourished.Comment

And you know that how? I know that in magical world of Natas only fat people can rehydrate weight, but in real world of boxing you can rehydrate up to 10% of your bodyweight without actually getting any bigger in waist.

First of all, lets define whats a weak division -- is it a division where top 10 contenders have more then 5 losses each? Or what exactly do you mean by weak division, because I have a real su****ion that the only actual argument you are gonna have for the weakness of the division is because everyone in it got beat up by Klitschkos. Not a good argument at all.Comment

Are you dim? Did I actually bring up the subject of Hopkins's measure of fighting middleweight? If he can, he might as well, because he is gonna be bigger, stronger, and more fit but dont take it against other fighters when they are bigger, stronger and more fit. A man like hopkins, a man who really is not that athletic, by boxing standards, or talented, but a man who made himself a great fighter through rigorous training and regime, a man, who made most of his career fighting smaller men should not belittle other fighters sharing the same similarities.Comment

Yeah it is true that the middleweight division was weak but he has enough marquee names on his record to justify his atg career. Even in the fights with oscar and tito if you actually watch the fight and observe he didn't fight them like a bigger man, he wasn't just bullying them using his size and strength he actually beat them with finesse and speed, defence, and brains, because that is his style. He fought roy jones when roy was knocking everyone out in the early part of his career and b-hop himself was still green, and gave him hell, so much so that jones never went anywhere near him during his prime years. You can't compare him with the klitschko's, lol. The bro's competition is ****e, absolute garbage, thats why they have to get guys like shannon briggs, who are 10 years past it to fight them. The division is full of bums, at least with adamek and haye they would be fighting world class fighters albeit natural cruiserweights, lets hope those fights happenComment

At least there is somewhat of a barometer with vitali because we know he could compete at a level with lewis even if he was past his best, he was still on top when vitali fought him. With Wlad there is no way to know apart from using judgement, like with the current crop of heavyweights its obvious to me that they are at a very poor level, and I have a sneaky su****ion wlad would not last too long with a really good heavyweight.Comment
