As a big Hopkins fan I thought Hopkins was gonna embarrass Joe because I was skeptical of him. But when I saw the fight live I thought Joe outhustled Bhop and I gained a lot of respect for Calzaghe and I became a fan. Then when the fight ended Bhop raised his hands and I knew this was gonna be controvesial because there's no way Hopkins won that fight and he is gonna ***** and moan. I had Joe ahead 3 points.

hopkins won the fight easily if you know how to score. he outlanded calzaghe by a wide margin and landed the much harder punches in more than 6 rounds in the fight. and he did all that while barely getting hit. aka boxing. if you don't know how to score you are reduced to saying the same old tired platitudes such as he outworked hopkins, hopkins faked low blows, calzaghe "did more" missing and coming forward are not scoring criteria! these people have no substance to back up their wild claims that calzaghe won.

The fact is Calzaghe wasn't landing a single clean or effective punch, and Hopkins was doing nothing but landing clean pinpoint accurate hard punches.

And he pretty much completely nuetralized calzaghe's so called legendary workrate and he did it at 43 years old.

Hopkins got robbed so bad. Up until the last 3 rounds Hopkins was completely schooling Calzaghe.

Also you should try judging like you are ring side, the judges dont have the benefit of replays and close ups, good angles, etc.

You also score points for been the agressor, pressing the action and ring generalship.

                    114-113 hopkins

hopkins was 5 points up in those first 4 rounds. calzaghe never won a round till the 5th.

prime for prime hopkins totally outboxes calzaghe for a wide points win
