He got schooled and permanently damaged by Floyd and then completely finished off by Manny
and hatton himself said 140 is his best weight.....be honest what was hatton's best weight jww or ww?....

im not saying, hatton would've won vs floyd if it was at 140, but we all know he was'nt as effective at that weight than he was at jww as evident in his lone fight at ww prior to fighting floyd.....

Come on now...Boxers have always been full of excuses (valid or not), why would you think fans of the sport would not do the same thing? To an even harsher extent...

Hell, Allen Green, Glen Johnson, Oscar (to name a few), etc. Have had excuses when they lost.

while training for the Floyd fight he said on camera that he felt much stronger and that he was pleased that he didnt have to worry about boiling down to 140 for this fight allowing him to focus on his gameplan....

tbh you probably right about which weight he was most effective at - and i credit you for saying that he probably would have lost to PBF at 140 too.... my point is that if a MAN says this about himself before the fight then there are no excuses to be made afterward...

for some reason the way we treat people on road seems to be totally reversed when talking about Floyd or Manny.

some people seem to either forgive them for everything or find fault in everything they do... its quite pathetic really

          This.

Regardless of how Alexander-Bradley ends, Mayweather would school and outbox Devon. He is faster, smarter and overall a few classes over Kotelnik, and we all saw how that one worked out.
Ok fight, especially for Mayweather to hopefully get back in the mix again, but very predictable.

i aint saying it dont happen.... im saying this is a sport where excuse makers are given no credence...

besides there is a difference between a robbery.... and a guy who says he lost coz he had IBS...

nothing wrong thinking you won when you gave it your all (Glenn Johnson)... especially when you came to fight....

excuses are when you give a reason why you lost which aint anything to do with the fact that the guy was just better than you... weight drain, ibs, wrong shorts, my mom died, etc, etc.

I still don't get what the comparison is about. Floyd and Manny have two completely different styles so of course the outcomes are gonna be different. But for those that say Floyd has never fought anyone like Manny who puts combinations together. It's easy to put combinations together when your opponent is just standing there and on top of that very slow. I didn't see this big offensive output against Marquez. Did you guys? It's not that easy when you're getting punched in the face. I don't care how much of a warrior you think you are noone likes to get punched in the face. And even tho Floyd don't put combinations together like Marquez does he will hit manny enough and make manny miss enough to where he'll cool his jets. And Floyd don't get tired so I don't wanna hear how Manny will outwork Floyd and pressure him. But it amazes me how everytime someone says they wanna fight Floyd people start bashing Floyd as if Floyd himself said he wants to fight the person. Floyd has said nothing about fighting Devon and yet he's gettin bashed for pickin on jr. welters again. I don't get it.

Please explain how Manny beats Floyd. If it's true what they say in boxing about a great big man beating a great little man then how can anyone say pac will win? Floyd is a true welter now. I see Floyd fighting Pac on the inside hitting him with pull counters and hooks all night. Until Freddie says that's enough. It will be a boxing clinic.

I gotcha bro, that is why I said "valid or not"...Glen is who I was speaking of in that reguard.

Just pointing out the excuses are made. I agree with you that none should be made. That's just not the case.

                      actions speak louder than words.

hatton fought 1x at WW prior to wifebeater jr and afterward he ran back to 140 lbs.

hatton has no business at 147 lbs and he knew it. only reason why hatton said he "felt" stronger at 147 lbs was cause he was selling the fight and had confidence that he could beat wifebeater at 147 lbs. no exuces that he said that and felt that way, but actions speak louder than words.

both times hatton got whupped at 147 lbs prior to the pac fight, hatton went running back down to 140 lbs.
