Just for clarification. Who do you think won?

Do you think Floyd won, or Oscar? What rounds did Oscar win?

Go back an read the my posts, and you will find the answer.

Do you know how to score a fight?

Lucky Oscar's right hand was gone and was not as fit as before his retirement.

At 8 rounds I had the fight even and most people had that as well.

2nd Bold: That is debateable. True Hatton took his first lost to Floyd (at 147), but many fans feel he took his real first lost to Collazo (at 147). Ricky never lost at 140, did his best work at 140. That is where Pac fought him, and KO'ed him in 2 rounds.

Put this post into perspective before you reply.
Collazo should of gotten the decision but couldn't dust him off, Floyd left no doubt. Confidence is key, and the best Ricky Hatton stepped into the ring with Floyd Mayweather, regardless of weight 147 or 140, he felt the weight gave him an advantage due to his style compared to Floyd's. He was undefeated, highly motivated and trained for the fight of his life but failed. When Floyd KO'ed him he went into a tail spin seaching for answers he blamed the referee, fired his trainer, changed his style. He had doubt in his mind when he fought Pacquiao, mentally he was not the same man or champion that had fought Mayweather.

oh boy... **** is getting heated in here.
the old pac/floyd resume comparison. LOL.

IMO, floyd mightve fought the "fresher" versions of oscar, hatton, etc.... but pac finished them off in spectacular fashion. kudos to both. mayweather underwhelms by going the safe route, but pac underwhelms with his past few choices in opponent (obvious pac is a money fighter now)

"pac never fought anybody like floyd, blah blah blah..."
but same can be said for floyd... when was the last time floyd fought a guy that could put combinations together? AND wont abandon his offense due to a few pullcounters? although i believe floyd wouldve beat cotto & margs, i feel they wouldve put some hurt on floyd and would shine a light on floyds weaknesses. margs wouldve walked floyd down, NO WAY floyd wouldve ko'ed prime margs. floyd wouldve resorted to pot-shotting & elbow pushing to get margs off of him to an ugly SD. prime cotto wouldve punished floyd's body all night... but floyd outclasses cotto anyday.

everyone put their neutral hat on.... obvious that floyd could OUTBOX pac anyday... but pac could OUT-HUSSLE & PRESSURE floyd for 12 rounds EASY...

for all these idiots that claim that the sport is "boxing, not knockouts"... they need to realize something, although the art of "hit & not get hit" is key... knockouts play an integral role in the sport of boxing. it jolts life into the sport.

if sergio won by close SD against p-will instead of KO-ing him, i am 100% sure EVERYONE wouldnt be so **** for sergio... but sergio KO'ed him, now EVERYONE is rabid for the guy. LOL. so much for the argument that its "boxing not knockouts"... i dont see everyone clamoring for a rigondeaux fight???? and if its all about BOXING, not KNOCK-OUTS... then why is everyone HUNGRY for montiel/donaire??? i doubt "chess match" is the first thing to pop into peoples minds for that fight.

            im just saying....

oh yeah, floyd schools devon... obviously
            (keeping with the topic)

That's fine. I on the other hand give Pac and Floyd credit for there wins over Hatton. I don't take shots at either one of them in attempt to discredit the win just cause someone else did it first...

              I mean really.

I do respect you giving your opinion in a mature manner. As I said, it is open to debate (who fought the better version). I for one think Floyd fought the better version (for my own reasons), but can't get mad, or act as if I don't understand why someone feels that Pac fought the better Hatton.

by the way things have played out, i feel BOTH are not too anxious to get in the ring with each other...

                  • theres plenty of reports that pac agreed to full random OST to call floyds bluff, but it was never official. if team pac was smart, they wouldve made a press release stating they agree to FULL OST... but they didnt, so they look suspect. now it seems pac is content with stacking his fight schedule with money fights.... sad & pathetic.

                  • after the shane fight, floyd claimed he was ready to fight the best (pac & sergio)... apparently, according to team floyd "negotiations never happened"... so what about sergio???? floyds answer:
                  - "im not thinking about boxing right now"
                  - "im going to take a couple years off"
                  - "im on vacation..."

                  thank god theres donaire/montiel & bradly/alexander.
boxing needs new stars because the current ones are completely useless.

pac wakled around frmo the first negotiations after getting his 14days.

team pac claims there was a second negotiation and pac agreed to all of floyds demands but like always. pac was exposed for lying and he in fact didnt agree to floyds demands. pac asked for 7 days being exposed by Koncz. there fore, there is nothing to negotiate being that pac didnt accept floyds demands like he claimed.

the only one holding up the fight is pac, not floyd.

and he has been since the begining
