Bada Bing Bada Boom!!! lol ... I'm not a Calslappy fan by any means. His style to me was just ugly and not very entertaining. Regardless, he was a good fighter and would give anyone around his weight class a very tough fight. He may have not always fought the best, but he is underrated imo. This is coming from a huge Jones fan that was screaming at my t.v. while Joe was slapping the piss outta him.

I thought you were trying to get him banned because he's a Klitschko fan and you hate the K Bros.

You got him upset by bashing and discrediting the K bros.

froch was Calzaghes mandatory and would of given Calz his biggest payday, yet Calzaghe ducked him like he did all the top fighters during his carrear.
he still lost didnt he. if you want to talk ****, i could say dirrell schooled froch who hit air all night. abraham is really a middleweight, and is very 1 dimensional. taylor fight he was losing aswell. calzaghe fought hopkins in america when he was number 3 p4p. i dont see abraham, taylor or pascal anywhere near p4p number 3.

Why don't you read the thread properly, in a thread I said that Vitali had not beat anyone of note(his resume is just not great, Wlads is), a comment I recieved red K for with the comment saying ******ed n*****. The same poster has done the same before and I called for him to be banned. It's a pretty well known thread.

Abraham has one punch KO power and is a very dangerous opponent someone Calzaghe wouldnt of dared fight.

Direll ran and you cant win a fight away from home like that.

So what if he was losing the taylor fight ?

Hopkins was in his 40s and is a carrear middleweight and was way past it yet he still won according to alot of people. Calzaghe ducked a rematch.

wasnt jeff lacy supposed to be that also?

sure dirrell ran, but could froch hit him? dirrell outlanded him massively whilst on the run.

so my point is, he was losing the fight because hes not that good.

it doesnt matter if you or "alot of people" think hopkins won, the fact is, he didnt.

Prime Hopkins would have KOed Calzaghe.

He lost to an Old past prime Hopkins in a catchweight fight according to the British press and others. He refused a rematch so deserves little credit for that 'win'.
Hopkins looked older than he has ever looked in any fight and his "survival tactics" were way overboard. I had Calzaghe winning a close decision by 2 rds at least over an overwhelmed Hopkins. As soon as Calzaghe started to find his rhythm, BHOP was getting pressured up against the ropes and out worked.

Landing two or three solid punches while getting hit by 20 to 50 punches in return is not winning the fight, especially when the other guy is dictating the pace of the fight while keeping you from using the style you like.

Who has Lacy beaten that could be regarded as above class C. Direll ran, Froch won as he was the won pressing the fight.

Marciano stopped people late while losing does that make him 'not that good'.

It was a lucky win. Even if you give him credit for it, that still doesnt make up for him fighting journeymen and bums for most of his carrear.

Hopkins looked older beacuase he was in his 40s and way past it.

His survival tactics have been used by countless boxers. What do you think of Calzaghes stoppages in his early carrear where the ref would stop fights early to pad his record?

Calzaghes flurries of slaps does not equal effective punching. 2 or 3 Hopkins puches is worth more than slaps which dont even land cleanly.
