Hatton of course. He was a clear step above all three fighters in their primes and one of the best 140lbers of the last ten years, despite getting shat on quite regularly on this forum. I don't even see why he's here to be honest. Katsidis would get beaten at his own game, Gatti would get outboxed and probably stopped, and Ward would just get brutalised. Hatton was a ferocious inside puncher but he had a lot of skill and athleticism as well, and had great timing on his shots as well as very quick feet that enabled him to close distances and cut down the ring rapidly. If he found himself in trouble (unlikely though not impossible since prime Hatton's chin was solid) then he could quite easily box on the outside till the storm had passed, as he did for large stretches against Urango. That's a luxury that the other three couldn't really rely on, though Gatti didn't used to be too bad. Power wise he's probably the strongest fighter of the four, and had a sustained ferocity of attack that even top level fighters found troubling to deal with. Given the propensity of all four to slug it out in close quarters I really can't see there being any surprises with the outcome here.

Look at how brutally he attacks Stewart's body here. This was two fights before the Tszyu bout, which most agree was Hatton's best performance.

Hatton is better than all of them. Ward and Gatti tend to get overrated because of their fights together when in reality, it was just two C level fighters beating the ***** out of each other.
