hes boring, hes arrogant, hes a fight dodger, hes got a weak chin, he was a soft *****, he was lazy, he had questionable heart, he was a money grubber, and his accent was just plain ****** if not fake.

i will say this: his title reign was lengthy and impressive, he had excellent power, he was a superb technician, he had some skill, and, at times, he could be pretty funny.

i personally dont like lewis, but i wont question his place in history. ill put him in the top 20 HW champion of all time, but no higher.

A fighter shouldn't have to have a rematch for a fight he won. Holyfield stays on and people complain Lewis retires to enjoy family life and people complain.

Exactly, the outcome of the fight was so ****ed up that a rematch was obvious. But I do give Lewis credit for being intelligent and retiring. If Vitali can be beating him on the scorecards after only preparing for him for two weeks, then I doubt Lewis would want to give him months to train for it. Vitali TKO 8.

"lewis does not have a weak chin" is one of the DUMBEST POSTS I HAVE EVER SEEN. ask any boxing expert, ask any boxing journalist or commentator or any boxing fan with an IQ higher than yours. they will all say the same thing, LENNOX LEWIS HAD A WEAK CHIN. lewis was good with rolling with punches, but when he got caught like he did with mccall and rahman (both of whom have been taken the distance by mediocre fighters) he went down. mercer is hardly a hard hitter. hes got some impressive KOs, yes. but no, hes never mention as one of the hardest hitters in the HW division ever.
