Was Lennox Lewis Overrated?

until the last few years of his ****ing career.

I still don't think he's overrated even now, take note of how many people still argue that he's overrated? lol

Do I think he's the greatest of all time? no.

Do I think he was always a punch from being KO'd through the first part of his career? yes

Do I think he was afraid of having to go through another fight like the VK fight? yes

Although I never personally liked Lennox Lewis as a boxer, he still was a very good fighter, and a decent champion. I just always envision Lennox sitting down to tea and crumpets rather than really kicking someone's ass.

The real problem with Lennox is that he never really had any defining fights. He beat an aging Evander Holyfield, and the 2nd fight was very questionable as to who actually won it.

The Mike Tyson fight was a quick buck for Lennox. Mike was there to get some dough and get out.

Lennox's style was a little boring.

I actually think he was a little over rated. You can't totally fault Lennox for it, but the division was headed for the toilet after Holyfield got old.

my vote? Not an all-time great, but a solid champion.

hes boring, hes arrogant, hes a fight dodger, hes got a weak chin, he was a soft *****, he was lazy, he had questionable heart, he was a money grubber, and his accent was just plain ****** if not fake.

i will say this: his title reign was lengthy and impressive, he had excellent power, he was a superb technician, he had some skill, and, at times, he could be pretty funny.

i personally dont like lewis, but i wont question his place in history. ill put him in the top 20 HW champion of all time, but no higher.
