Lewis was a great champion end of argument.
If you have any boxing knowledge then that is obvious, its all been said on here prior to this but to dominate the Heavyweight Division as he did and to only lose twice (both avenged) is an incredible feat.
The only argument offered is that he fought the best out of their prime, check his age against theres, theres hardly any age difference between Tyson, Holyfield and Lewis, the better man won simple.
Why can't people just live with it????Comment

Never saw this thread before, it's pleasant to see that the majority are voting "no".
Big Len could be a little too scientific and not visceral enough from a spectator standpoint, but he was pretty much the best he could be in his era and is still underrated IMO. I'd have to have him top 10 all-time, don't see any other way round it. Of course, it's all nonsense because with his size you could make an argument of Lewis being able to beat any of the greats that came before him.Comment

In a way it's not his fault there was no "career defining" fight, and we shouldn't really judge careers by that criteria IMO... look at Hopkins beating De La Hoya as his big bout. (though him beating Tarver was impressive IMO).
Even Lewis's predecessors Tyson and Holmes lacked that one big fight... though of course, Tyson's style, persona and reputation outshone any such resume limitations.Comment
