3 Time World Champion(Only Holyfield and Ali are the other two)

The only two times he lost he came and avenged those losses. I mean damn what more do you want from this guy?

How about actually fighting someone in their prime? besides a guy that was supposed to be good but really wasn't.

if you think none of these rematches shouldve happend, then you are the worst/dumbest boxing fan i have ever met.

and you are the dumbest boxing fan I have ever come across for trying to compare the situations of those fights to the situation of a Lewis/Vitali fight. Lewis an ageing champion at the end of the road takes on an up and coming challanger and wins fair and sqaure.

Why should he keep fighting? To make you happy? Just so you can see him lose?

He obvious did not have the desire to go through another training camp and his love for the sport was not what it had been. He should have gotten out when he did. He did the smart thing retire on top, retire with all his money and most importantly retire with all his brain cells.

Its painfully obvious you cant speak on this subject without an agenda.

        Like who?

        Bowe?

Was it Lennox's fault Bowe didn't want the fight and avoided him like the plaugue?

was it Lewis' fault Mike Tyson would have rather gave up his belt and 5 million dollars not to fight him?

Wweather you like it or not guys like Golota and Micheal Grant at the time of thosef ights were considered to be the biggest threat to his belts. Those were the right fights to take at the time. Now hindsight is 20/20.

he should give vitali a rematch because vitali's performance showed he deserved another title shot. but lewis decided to hide his tail between his legs and retire rather than stand down the challenge and go out with a fight, win or lose.

thats what a champion does, he accepts every worthy challenger and vitali was a worthy challenger. lewis didnt do that, and until he gives vitali a well deserved rematch, ill never consider lewis a real champion.

You sound like a little baby. Lewis won deal with it. Your trying to hold it against a guy for not having a rematch for a fight he won. Please for Godaskes dont try and compare it to those others you just make yourself sound foolish.

Yeah that ****ing coward always quitting in his fights....Oh wait thats the other guy.

you sound like a blind nut-hugger. yes, lewis won, and lewis won fair and square. that cut was one of the worst cuts i have ever seen in my life and i agree with the doctors decision to stop the fight.

but none of that changes the fact that lewis said he would give vitali a rematch and he went back on his word.

whos the real quitting coward: the guy who lost twice because of injuries? or the guy who gets his ass handed to him and retires in the face of a worthy challenger?
