location is everything. don king is usually smarter about this. I dunno why he allowed the fight to be in detroit.

In a way, when the fight was big, it could have been made but Bradley's team kept waiting, and since then when Bradley fought ABregu and Alexander fought Kotelnik, that hype has defintiely gone down, and everyone expects Bradley to win.
the kotelnik and agrebu fight has nothing to do with low sales. detroit was the worse place to stage a boxing match. shaw should be shot for picking detroit.

The reason why theyre are struggling is because they haven't been heavily promoted.as much and as bad as I want to see this fight, it should of waited a fight or two.bradley and alexander have not been completly all around promoted right.none of the less id rather see this fight now with both of them in theyre primes then in a minor mismatch down the road

This would've done great in a lot of places. Maybe even in Detroit if it was marketed correctly. How can this even happen? It's not like it's 3000 miles from the Lou, I'd drive 7 hrs to see it. Wow.

pretty shameful America! i bet this fight could sell better in the UK even though a lot of folks won't know who they are.
the fighters should count their blessings the TV networks arent playing hardball together and knocking the purse prizes right down.

Ricky Hatton could fight on Mars and a good number of Brits would show up.

I was thinking of going, but the tickets on the floor are $250 - $400. It looks like there's quite a few tickets in the stands for $55 - $100, but I'm not sure I want to drive 2 hours there & 2 hours back in the Michigan winter to see the fight from the stands when I could see it on HD HBO in my own basement for free.

Maybe I should email Don King & Gary Shaw to see if I can get a free ticket or two.
