Only reason people call Ukrainians "Russian" is because it was part of the USSR and people just called it Russia during its part in the USSR.

so the whole "RUsj" started aprox 1600-1500 years ago in Kiev. so Russians should be called/know as Ukrainians then? Russia is huge and we all were in USSR. I'm not saying Kirgistan or Kazahstan should be called Russians just because they were in USSR. no. Ukr Russ and Belorussia are oretty much same blood. and because someone dont know Ukraine, it doesnt mean, they cant call us Russians. anyways..
