BTW, if you're refering to HW titlists (like Haye) yes there will probably be a few, if you mean THE HW champion (like Wlad), I think it's going to be some time before it happens.

After looking further into it, i have found that Odessa was part of Imperial Russia and its culture is a blend or Russian, Yiddish and Ukrainian cultures.

Ukraine also have elements of Russia in its culture as well as elements of other various eastern Europeon cultures.

At the monemt Ukraine has a huge population of Russians and some cities like Donetsk has more Russians then Ukrainians in it.

But 2 different people and 2 different cultures

Seriously, there are no real Black Heavyweight contenders out there, and Russia OWNS the HW division now.

There used to be Black HW Champions from the 1930's to the early 2000's, but now, there arent any.

Why not ? according to these arguments , Russia is not supposed to rule the HW division right now . And actually it is not exactly Russia which rules today . The question is what will be preferable to certain potential basketball players , basketball or boxing ? Probably the answer right now is basketball .

You said yourself that you are mostly Russian and Georgian living in Ukraine. And it sounds like you live in diversified area which has a ton Russian influence

I am fully Ukrainian but i also speak Russian, i dont know why or how because both of my Grandparents only speak Ukrainian

I live in district called Maldovanka "Малдованка" not only Russians here. the disctrict that made Odessa 1 of the most toughest towns.. . ukr, russ, chechen, doesnt matter who you are or what colour your butt is.

Why is race always such a large debate on this site? Boxing is the sport that unites each of us on this site. Yet instead of celebrating this great sport and our connection to it you guys find countless ways to segregate the sport. A man is a man. Black, white, yellow, brown. I understand that you may tend to side with 1 person versus another simply because you look like them. But how shallow is that? That may be where the similarities end. You may be more like the person you look less like. At some point you have to stop seeing in black and white and realize that tv and life is in color not to seperate us but to allow you to enjoy the full spectrum.

nah come on we can all make our jokes in fun and games about other races and their athletic prowess in certain sports, and lack thereof in others. it all comes down to socioeconomic factors, and a bunch of complex **** that grooms certain strengths while inhibiting others. i saw someone do a thesis on it, and it made sense. very very complex. but it has been proven time and time again there is no such thing as a "superior race" in any aspect of life.

Hopkins is the one saying in a new dfifferent thread, that Black are built differently.
Then I wonder, if what Hops says is true that they're built better, then why arent there any Black HW champs??
