It's simple, they're about even.Baldomir is not a better fighter than Cotto, lets clear that up 1st.But Baldomir between all the champions & so forth that either have fought at 147(or in Manny's case catchweights),on paper Baldomir was the only lineal ranked.Followed by the version of Mosley that Floyd beat.

But Cotto is regardless & straight up a better fighter than Badomir(even though Manny needed a catchweight to fight him).So in ahead to head comparo between Baldomir & Cotto without titles,Cotto being the better fighter evens it up.Clottey is always a solid outing,he can make U look bad,but against the best offense lower than 154,he doesn't fight enough to beat Pacman.

The Mosley that Floyd fought probably wasn't any better than the Mosley Pacman will be fighting. But there is a difference,no one expected Mosley to be in such bad shape against Floyd & at the time his victory over Margarito made him the man to beat. Now Mosley brings nothing but his name to fight Pacman, who didn't want anything to do with him after he bossed up on Margarito.

As a real fighting fan, there is absolutely nothing about the Margarito fight that i find credible,or worth defending on Pacman's part. That fight was a disgrace & a slap in the face to everyone of those 154lb fighters.

Those 3 alone pretty much trump anything PBF has on his WW resume.

Uhhh... No, Baldomir was not a better win than either Cotto or Clottey, let alone combined (which is utterly laughable). No one even knew Baldomir existed before his win against an uninspired and unprepared Zab.

Cotto was weight drained? Cotto came in at 146 in his last fight against Clottey, which is a 1 pound difference in his next fight. So how is that exactly a weight drained Cotto? He certainly didn't look weight drained in the first 4 rounds of that fight, as he gave Pacquiao his toughest test since moving up in weight.

So what if he hadn't fought in 9 months? Is that supposed to be an excuse as to why Clottey didn't win the fight? Whether you like it or not, Clottey was a big, tough, and rugged welterweight when Pacquiao fought him. He was in the top 5 for a reason.

How exactly is he overrated? If he is overrated that's news to me. He certainly isn't overrated on this board. His win over Judah was close? Maybe you should actually DL and watch the fight, before coming to conclusions. Clottey was busting Zab up in that fight and was on his way to stopping him.

So just because Baldomir was lineal champion he's automatically better than Cotto and Clottey...

I knew it was a waste of time to comment, I should have just skipped to reading your last point and just stopped. That pretty much tells me all I need to know.
and clottey lost to all of them-lol

floyd's resume at ww is better--no need for criticism at this point man--

Whoever takes floyd's resume serious after he became a welter weight is either biased towards floyd or just plain idiotic. There was the cream of the welterweight crop fighting each other and floyd goes on vacation...what a ****in doosh bag. Oh wait, he fought the big show on wwe wrestling and won. That dumb sh.it right there only proves what a joke the ****** azz man is.

            Mayweather's meaningful WW wins:
Judah coming off an upset loss to a journeyman
Undefeated Hatton moving up from JWW
            Mosley

            Pacquiao's meaningful WW wins:
Cotto at a catchweight of 145 lbs.
Clottey coming off a close loss to Cotto

IMO, Pac's win vs. Clottey and Floyd's win vs. Judah are even. So after that, you are comparing Floyd's wins over Hatton and Mosley to Pac's win over Cotto.

I'll give the very, very slight advantage to Floyd. But I'm biased.

              Cotto
              Clottey
Margarito (150 CW, but we've been told over and over again Pac's 8th divisional belt is not legit and Tony was just a blown up welter)
              Mosley

              Floyd's WW resume (6 years):

              Mitchell

              Baldomir

              JMM (lightweight)
              Mosley

So who has the better WW resume? Vote and discuss.

*Just for argument's sake, let's assume Pac wins against Mosley*
How can you be taken seriously with all the biasness in this post?

Margarito as a WW? It was a 150 Catchweight fight for a vacant WBC 154 title.

As of now Pacquiao only has DLH[who didn't fight at WW in 10 years before that fight], Clottey[who lost before the fight], and Cotto who looked bad against Clottey, and the fight against Pacquiao was at a 145 catchweight for a title that Cotto won at 147.
