floyd beat shane and baldomir who were both the #1 ww at the time so how is manny ww resume better?
If you take away titles and rankings, it is as obvious as night and day, Manny fought the more dangerous fighters by far. If you are an actual boxing fan you should be a good judge of fighters abilities and it is so so obvious who fought the better competition. I am surprised people voted for Floyd because it is so obvious.

of course a paquiao fan would say something like this because it is obviously better to fight shane when he's not ranked in the top 3 ww than when he was ranked #1 it's much better to fight an unranked margarito at jmw than to fight #1 ranked sergio martinez at jmw.
how did manny fight the more dangerous fighters when everyone he has beat at ww was at a crossroad in there career and was not looked at to highly before announcing there matches with manny?

Only a ***** would think Baldomir was better then Cotto or Margarito that Manny fought. Or Zab is better than anyone manny fought. Or grandpa mosley that floyd fought was much better than the one manny is fighting now... How ****** is that?

it's floyd--floyd fought 2 ww champions at 147--he beat the 2 ww champions at the time in mosley and baldomir--the 2 champions of the ww division--i don't care how you view them, but floyd dominated the real ww champions at the time, and the former ww champion in judah---he fought ricky at ww which is still one of his greatest wins because ricky was undefeated and top 5 p4p at the time and mitchell was a tuneup bouth at ww and one of his best wins also at the time because of mitchell's skill--

jmm was smaller but he was p4p number 2 and one of the greatest fighters of this era--and took manny to school, winning more rounds against him in 2 fights---oscar didn't fight at 147, but floyd beat a guy who held the ww championship and had a stellar resume there--floyd wanted the fight at 147, but oscar said no---he knew then he couldn't fight at ww and be strong---so manny fights him there--but that was oscar's fault, not manny's---

manny fought oscar at ww which got him overhyped if you ask me because oscar hadn't fought there in 9 years--

cotto was a good win for manny, but he fought him at 145, so you could bash the win like you did floyd for fighting jmm---he beat cotto for a title at 145--i don't care who thinks 2 pounds doesn't make a difference--it does, trust me-lol--i've been there--

floyd fought hatton at 147---hatton won a title at 147 his first trip out, and looked sluggish in the later rounds---that's due to hatton putting on so much weight between fights and floyd came from 130 pounds---that was a great win--

manny beat oscar at a higher weight--roy jones beat ruiz at a higher weight, manny fighters did--do we bash holyfield fighting james tony at the weight they fought at?

ricky hatton was bigger than floyd throughout his career and wasn't good enough to beat him--that's all that was--jmm beat fighters at higher weight classes also--

great fighters know, size doesn't matter in terms of skill--not physical dependence--

i give manny the cotto win, but he should have let him fight at 147, not 145 for his title-

manny fought clottey who had just lost to cotto a fight prior--

manny fought margarito at 154, made him come in at 150 lbs, and manny didn't make the weight, just like floyd didn't make weight for jmm--manny's last 2 fights were shams because margarito fought a bum in his return fight and looked terrible overall--and he had a 2 year layoff before that--and was knocked out in his last great fight--

now mosley is fighting him--he has aged gracefully but is still a great fighter--but he did draw with mora at 154, not he has to go back down 7 pounds to fight manny, and his last outing at 147 he was dominated by floyd mayweather jr...

floyd's ww resume consisted of people who were on winning streaks, except for judah and maybe mitchell--but still solid--

floyd beating mosley and baldomir ****s on manny's fights, due to the time he fought them--

No need to read all that b.s. when the answer is so blatantly obvious that only qualification to assess this is a pair of eyes to see that Manny has the better resume.

i didn't say baldomir was better than cotto but if you wanna break those 2 fighter down baldomir actually beat a ww champ to become the champ where as cotto has won all his ww tittles in vacant tittle matches.
manny fought margarito at ww?you don't even know what you are sayin manny has only had 3 fights at ww cotto, clottey, and oscar.
shane is grandpa mosley yet manny is gin to fight him and lets not forget that manny and his team didn't want anything to do with shane before floyd whooped his ass.the zab judah that floyd fought is probably better than the cotto manny fought that zab judah is probnably also better than the oscar manny fought what alot of you pacfans don't take into consideration is when those fights happened oscar wasn't looked as a threat to any ww and no one was to sure about cotto after losing to margarito and havin a contracersial win over clottey but you pac fans judge those fighters at there best but they were no where near there best when they fought manny

Floyd ducked Cotto and fought baldomir. . There is a reason for that. Enough said. Just got to the bold... Oh boy...

floyd ducked cotto to fight baldomir?floyd moved to ww before cotto and baldomir was floyds 3rd fight at ww by the time floyd was fighting baldomir coto probably only had 1 fight at ww.if this is true that floiyd ducked cotto to fight baldomir can you tell me what changed within a year and half when arum said that cotto wasn't ready for floyd when they were both at 140?
