2) Floyd has beaten two lineal champions at WW (the reigning champ Baldomir, and former champ Judah), and Mosley who was the #1 fighter at the time.
3) Floyd's win over Judah > Manny's win over Clottey. Prime-Judah of 2005 would have beaten Clottey.
4) Floyd's win over Hatton > Manny's win over Clottey (Clottey didn't even fight back!). Hatton was an undefeated top-10 (or top-5) P4P fighter when Floyd beat him.
5) Margarito weighed in at 150lbs and was >160lbs on the night. It was a Light-Middleweight fight, not a Welterweight fight!
6) Cotto was weight-drained so Manny gets no credit for this win from me. Likewise Floyd gets no credit for beating JMM because JMM was a blown-up Lightweight.
7) De La Hoya was so badly weight-drained, so Manny gets no credit whatsoever. It's just a big name on his resume, nothing more. Meaningless fight, meaningless win.
8) Manny has never been lineal champ at WW. Floyd has.
9) Floyd's win over Baldomir is better than any of Manny's wins at 147 because Baldomir was the top dog at the division - he was lineal champ.
**** all the *******s that think their hero has had a legit Welterweight career. Two fights against Cotto and Clottey do not eclipse Floyd's resume at Welterweight.
Edit: And for the record, I'm not a *****, nor am I a *******. I'm neutral, I'm a fan of both boxers and respect both of their accomplishments. But the bias against Floyd and for Manny in this thread and poll is ridiculous.
