Actually, they should go forth with the contractual obligation to Dawson. When the WBC strips Pascal, they should sue the WBC for once again breaking their own damn rules. They'll also have the previous judgement against the WBC when they pulled similar crap with Rocky.

According to the WBC's own rules, Dawson has at least until August to defend the WBC title, and it's possible that it might be December if the Hopkins fight was considered a mandatory defense.

I'd like to see nothing more than Sulaiman and the WBC get put out of business once and for all.

Look at the truth. Sulaiman is as corrupt and crooked as they come. He's got his hand out to every champion. He called Sergio Mora a bum even though Mora is a former WBC champion and is currently ranked #8 buy the WBC. Odlanier Solis is the WBC #1 mandatory for Vitali Klitschko, based on what? A BS eliminator against friggin' 40 year old Ray Austin? And why was Austin even in the running?

Ahmet Oner obviously greased Sulaiman's palm to get his fighter the mandatory. Think it's coincidence that Wlad doesn't have the WBC title? Wlad intentionally doesn't have that belt, and it's the only one Vitali has. I'm no Klitschko fan, but they're shrewd businessmen, and that stuff is intentional.

And why the hell is the WBC wanting Pascal vs. Hopkins 2 for the WBC diamond belt? Hopkins is the "Emeritus" champion and Pascal is the WBC light heavyweight champion, and the fight would be at light heavyweight, so what's the point? Or is this some other kind of trickery where Pascal doesn't get credited with a mandatory defense, or they have a loophole hoping to avoid a lawsuit? Any decent judge would still see right through this.
