Trinidad or Cotto, who was the best all around fighter? And More liked in PR?

Cotto is not a better boxer than Tito. Tito eventually stopped using his boxing, but he was a hell of a lot better than Cotto all around.

Trinidad is the greatest PR fighter of the last 20 years and one of the greatest PR fighters of all time.

Cotto is not close to the level of Trinidad. He is a good fighter but in comparing him to Tito there is no comparison. And as far as being well liked... Well I have never met either but judging by what I have read Cotto is somewhat of an *******, and Tito is very friendly and welcoming with fans so I would say Tito is more well liked.

Cotto will not be remembered by history in the same breath as guys like Trinidad, Gomez, Benitez, etc...

That too is a whole different level. Tito was like the Duran, Pac, Ali, Fenech, Harada, Galaxy, Jofre, Monzon, Chavez etc of PR. Cotto is just a well liked champion whereas Tito was a bona fide legend.

Again, doesn't even compare.

I live in PR and I have come across Trinidad and Cotto various times and in different places. Trinidad is welcome everywhere and is considered the peoples champ. Cotto, not so much. Cotto comes off as arrogant and pompous and his attitude gets him in trouble here on the island. Cotto also is a heavy party goer and gets drunk all of the time. That is one of the reasons that he couldn't get along with his uncle and former trainer. Surprisingly, Juanma is following in trinidads footsteps and is well liked because of his humble attitude. Word is all three are known for being ladies man. They get mad action from hot pr girls.

Im a Mexican and IMO Tito Trinidad was a better puncher but Cotto was a better boxer. Trinidad was a little shaky on his feet it seemed to me. Cotto seems to be a lot more rounded and sturdy fighter. Now I dont know who was bigger or more liked in Pr, What do you think?

Cotto never came close to filling Titos shoes.

Trinidad was an underrated boxer, but mostly due to his power overshadowing it.

Even Skill wise. Tito more beloved.
We all wanted to see Tito fight, he was exciting,boastful, proud,and humble.
