I like HBO taking hard stances on good fights, for example they are the the main reason Martinez vs Williams II happened.

However, who the hell was calling for Martinez vs Dzinziruk?? The fans certainly weren't. Why isn't HBO trying to force Martinez vs Pirog?

For every smart thing HBO does they do 5 things that leave you scratching your head.

HBO had let Roy Jones jr fight Bums and Policeman for years, and now they act like this with Martinez???

one can make the argument that RJJ's cherrypicking led to HBO's hard stance with Martinez and Cotto.

This is such a ****** situation.. HBO has done split televised shows before.. i really dont understand the point of not wanting a Cotto fight considering he still had the best ratings on HBO of all of last year not named PAC or May... A PPV with Cotto and Martinez would have been a great PPV card..

why do so many people on boxingscene worry about what fighters make or dont make instead of worrying about COMPETETIVE FIGHTS?? also why complain about an up-and comer making 1mil for facing an ACTUAL CHAMP when pac makes 20 mil for essentially fighting washed up bums?? this should be called paciouao scene ,not boxing scene. and all other fighters dont desereve to make a dime only pac does, what a farce.
