His trainer seems to be absolute crap in training camp and preparation, but from what I remember his corner advice is pretty excellent. I still think he needs a new trainer and a fight with Bundrage at 154 is begging to be made.

Williams isnt done he just fought a better fighter and lost. He needs work on his defense and could use the help of a new trainer or co-trainer, but I think he could still manage to make some noise at 154 with his current trainer. He only has 2 loses and only 1 bad KO people are making it seem like this has never happened before in the history of boxing. I do wonder what wouldve happened if he did fight Pavlik though because Pavlik punches alot harder than Martinez and has a better chin too. Williams-Martinez III would be pointless I think Martinez won both fights and is just the better all around fighter. It would still make for a good fight still and would settle the score once and for all (technically) but I think Paul should just move and and forget 160 and 147 and fight at 154.

Williams vs any would be good fight at 154 -Cotto,Bundrage,Margarito II

He should hire Richardson and try to get a fight with Martinez or even Floyd Mayweather if he comes back.

Paul fights small and that's why he got KO'd into pluto. I
understand that Paul wants to put on a show and give the
crowd what they want but for him to give up his size and take
beatings is ridiculous. I'm sure Williams can come back and be
better but they have to stop with the excuses like "LUCKY PUNCH"
and just take the L, learn from it and get better. I don't know
who should train him but if I had a pick I would say Emmanuel
Steward who already works with tall fighters and could definitely
teach Williams how to use his long jab to keep his opponents
                at the end of it.

A lil defense won't hurt either. Everyone is talking about
****m but I think Paul needs a veteran trainer to school him.
Not saying ****m isn't because he is one of the best but
someone more of a mentor. Nowadays ****m is talking like
a fighter than a trainer. Paul doesn't need that, he needs
discipline and patience. I still think Paul Williams can be a
force to be reckoned with but he has to want to step up and
make some changes no matter how his people feel because
it's his career not theirs. And if they are his real people and
care, then it shouldn't be no problem. Don't want to see what
happened to Cotto happened to Paul. Cotto could have been
so much better but he was too set in the way things were.
Berto needs a new corner as well.

                that and that.....

Paul Williams needs to stay away from sport for at less a year....come back with a better gameplan using your height and reach....trust me people will pay to see a third bout in 2012..

Not too sure why so many people think Williams cant change.. His biggest issue honestly is defense; I dont think it would be impossible to teach him to just keep his hands up.

Stewart would be great for Williams, and I would honestly pick Jeff/Floyd Mayweather over Richardson, JMO

Here I'll train him. Keep your guard UP. Stand TALL but get in close an keep throwing 100 punches a round and never fight above 154.

There, I've save his career. He's an excellent fighter but Maravilla is better period. He can still be top 5 P4P though.
