How do you rank Barrera, Marquez, Morales

I'm done with this thread outta respect for Marquez.

I like the guy but I hate when his fans like to twist fact, alter history, and make it seem like he was this guy everyone ducked.

Man I followed those divisions since the late 90's and that was far from the truth. If anything I just chalk it up as him having a bad manager because Nacho was behind all of those decisions....but whatever.

Marquez is a HOF, borderline ATG but please cut the crap that everyone was ducking him.

I know that the excuse the Marquez camp likes to give but whatever. If you having been crying for a fight for 2 years and then someone not only offers you the fight, but a career high payday on HBO......you mean to tell me your gonna turn it down?

out of these guys morales alone beat pac. mab lost to pac 2x and jmm lost to pac 2x. mab was robbed against jmm imho. he should've won.

having jmm ahead of morales or mab is just wrong. comparing them as they are now is ****ed up. morales and mab fought war after war after war. jmm didn't take a lot of damage early in his career.

Marquez was reached to fight hamed on short notice after being hamed #1 contender for 2 years. less deserving fighters fought hamed in that 2 year periond. the one time hamed makes a offer to Marquez is on short notice.

SRL out performed Duran by their common opponents. However, by most rankings Duran is rank higer.

facts are that hamed, Marco, and Morales fought less deserving challengers while Marquez was a top contender at featherweight. go ahead and find a ring magazine from that time and you will find that Marquez was rated in the top 5 by all three major alphabet organizations before he pick up his belt from the ibf.

Charles Burley was avoided by most elite fighters, should he be rank ahead of fighters that actually have the better wins/resume?
