Look..how many times do i have to state that without the cut obstructing his view..there would be less punches landed by Lewis. This was proven in the first couple of rds when VK had full capacity of his visual acuity. The fact remains that the first half of the fight was fought on even terms & that's when Vk was dominating..while the second half the fight..Vk was fighting with a severe handicap & guess what the fight was pretty much even. That tells me all i need to know as to whom was the better fighter that night.

Doesn't take much skill to cut an opponent with the lacing of your glove while in a clinch but yet you guys are acting like Lennox's punches legitimately opened up the cut as if he was banking on cutting him with skill & precision.. it was pure luck & accidental just as if it was an accidental headbut... yes Lennox caused the cut with a punch but with a major assist of his glove & the lacings/stitches. You act like a PUNCH without the laces of the glove caught Vk..if that were the case..then yes full credit to LENNOX'S FISTS but that's not the case here>>> case closed.

Lewis' explanation that at his worst shape, he still beats Vitali is not an excuse, he should have proven it again in the rematch, both had two weeks to prepare for each other so Vitali Klitschko himself had little time to study and prepare for Lewis.

Those subsequent cuts were a result of the first cut...they weren't separate en****** as you're suggesting. Vitali was easier to hit by then & his vision was deteriorating from that eye but yet was still holding his own. Seeing that cut & how he hit the lottery gave Lennox new life & woke his sorry ass up. You try fighting with your face looking like Freddy Kruger's worst nightmare..but yet Vitali pulled it off & was more than willing to go on. Lewis didn't want NO part of Vitali after that because he knew after tussling with him for 6 rds & throwing everything he had at him & vITALI still kept on coming forward...there's NO way to improve on that & he knew vitali's confidence was at an alltime high after going toe to toe with him for half the fight with a severe handicap..it was a knowbrainer that he listened to moms & ofcourse LET'S NOT FORGET Kirk Johnson warning him of the dangers when Vitali's eye is healthy.... nuff said.

I got news for you guys. Vitali is Not INFERIOR to Lennox. He's got just as good of a boxing skillset as him. Is better than him in alot of aspects of the game. & please stop it with the Vitali doesn't hit hard crap. His "slap" punches with half his power behind it discourages his opponents from attacking. He doesn;t put full force behind his punches like he used to but still gets the same results. The guy stops 9 out of every 10 opponents & utilyzes half his power. Look what he did to the 3 hardest punchers in boxing today NOT named Klitschko.. Peter & Arreola were pummeled until their own corners said no mas with both fighters relieved that they did.. 2 sluggers that were supposed to beat him & he's the first fighter to stop them in compl;ete beatdowns.. Then Shannon Briggs..one of the strongest & hardest punchers ever & he just manhandled him..who gives a **** what version he was.. Vitali just gave a dose as to what he would've done to him at any stage of his career. No one ever shut Briggs down in that fashion before & let;sa cut the bs... that WAS A TKO if i ever saw one... Vitali will end his career by destroying Solis..Haye & Valuev WITH hAYE possibly being a revenge Ko for his little bro'.. & all of a sudden Vitali is the first undisputed since Lennox. He'd ve the first to KO the 7 ft Russian freak..that's for sure & might even give Holy A shot at undisputed as a farewell fight...the possibilities & his abilities are endless!

Look at all the list of fighters he was the first to stop/ko... Johnson..Donald..Peter Areola. Bean & several more I FORGET.. look what he did TO both England fighters lewis & Williams right after they had their ways with Iron MIKE.... 1400 DAYS worth of rust & comes back & takes what he had to give up due to..you guessed it>>> severe injuries. The comp card is getting old already... look at what he does to them for a clue into his greatness. Not his fault everyone they put in front of him gets dominated..yet we hold it against him that he ain't got no names on his resume. Trust me..put any alltime great with him & they get the same Standard VK beatdown,,same as Lewis wiuld've gotten had it not been for the cut that saved him.

I'm a huge fan of both Vitali and Wladimir but Lewis won this fight by TKO, the cuts were clearly caused by punches. Whether Klitschko would have won had the fight continued is irrelevant, as is the lead he held on the scorecards. It would have been good to see a rematch, but Lennox did the right thing and retired, something he should have done after beating Tyson in my opinion.
