De La Hoya neither had the speed, power, or foot work, and wasn't a southpaw to cause Floyd any problems, and he was still able to land on Floyd from time to time.
If this was a risk free fight for Floyd, I believe we would've seen this fight happen already.
Pac's going to have to come in, punch without being off balance and without cleanly being hit. He CAN do that but it wont be like anything he has faced in some years now.
I really think Floyd tried. Arum IMO is the one i'm concerned with.

As for OST, that's an entire whole other story. You can think what you want but the fact remains that "the system has failed". In today's society claiming you never failed a drug test does not validate you as being clean.
I believe "MONEY" Mayweather was so confidant he took the time to negotiate with Pac and even agreeing to $10 million dollars for every pound he would be overweight (as if he EVER came into a fight overweight). He agreed. Besides, Roach made the comment that "Pac isn't ready for a fighter like Mayweather". If anyone wasn't confidant it was Roach saying that and Pac making every excuse in the book to avoid taking the blood tests that followed up of Ariza saying Pac doesn't know what a steroid is and has no idea what he takes. Bob comes out and says he couldn't care any less if Pac ever fights Mayweather.
now here it is 2010 almost 2011 and Khan's stating that Pac's STILL not ready to take the tests....
But hey its Floyd's fault right? lol
youre making **** up again, roach never said pac was not ready...he said it was better for pac to get more time to train for a mayweather other than less than 1 and half months....they wanted the floyd fight eversince he came back...they even criticesd him for not waiting a week after the hatton fight so they could negotiate right way...but floyd said he wanted a tune up first......than came the cotto fight which again one of the fighters floyd avoided and went on retienmnet, all of the garbage talks from floyd's daddy started..

First they'd crush floyd, now it'd be a tough fight blah blah blah....more of a challenge than beating floyd would be challenging these guys to try and not say floyds name for longer than an hour....Look who needs who now. Both guys are great and that's how this fight should have been hyped in the first place.
