Why should boxing be any different.... Sugar RAY rOBINSON...ALI or Joe LOUIS... PAC.... MAYWEATHER.. Lewis threw 2 belts away by the time he fought Vitali....don't forget he thought he was above Ruiz as well.. a fighter Evander fought 3 times & Holy also fought Byrd.

How come Vitaly didn't fight him? Dun dun dun..............

Oh & to the dude that said chris byrd fought on even terms with vitali.... how do you explain the 8-1 sc oring on all the judges scoring.... byrd landed a bunch of freebie shots...the last rd or 2 when vitali could no longer block punches because of his shoulder. HE threw many more punches & was the aggressor throughout as BYRD was doing his impersonation of kevin johnson. Yes.. vitali did miss alot & had a low connect % but he was in full control & had Byrd IN RETreat throughout. Byrd WAS a defensive wizard back then & has made many sluggers miss big.. Tua.. Holyfield & even Ike BEFORE he got through..so no shame when a fighter's only chance is to play stellar defense. ALTHOUGH VITALI did control Byrd AS well as his bro.. he couldn't get to him as easily as Wlad did... styles make fights & Wlad's just did better against Byrd's Peekaboo style. Vitali needs guys to throw punches to be effective & guys like Byrd & Johnson are strictly there not to get hit & that's there specialty... regardless he still WON 20 OF 21 rds against those dudes..& that's Vitali at his absolute worst>>>> those are the FACTS!

We already established that although VALERO did get his 27 ko's 2 rds quicker.. he certainly didn't win as many rds as Vitali in those 67 rds as Vitali did in 69 rds.... & can you verify if dude was ever knocked down? Also i already told you that when YOU kNOCKOUT the same amount of fighters...the amount of flesh stopped takes over & that's Vitali by tons.... kapish!

That is because, 19 of those 27 fights ended in the 1st round. Is hard to win a lot of rounds if the fights don't go past 1 round. Can Vitaly claim to have 19 1st rd KO's? I think not "D

Sure he was, once Lennox retired both Vitaly and Ruiz were rated the top 2 HWs.
