  • I'm frankly shocked at the poll results.

Vitali is probably #1 HW of all time and easily top 5 ATG at hw.

    You people are insane.

    • They could be, nobody will ever know because nobody can challenge them.

They won the body lottery by being born so physically gifted, but they lost the time lottery by being born in an era with no competition.

Vitali is like RJJ. Unbeatable. Seriously. There is nobody in the history of HW boxing that can beat this man. The only guy who had any chance was Lewis who matched him in size and power. Lewis's mom had to sacrifice a baby llama so God gave him the sweet graces of cutting Vitali, who was tearing his ass up. The doctor stopped Vitali from pummelling Lewis into submission. Don't act like lewis is iron-chinned like Vitali.

Lewis had 1, at most 2 rounds left before he was a goner. That is Vitali's game. Accumulative, abusive damage over the duration of the fight. By 6-7 round you can see the same look on Arreola, Peters, Corrie Sanders faces..... they getting ready to go. Lewis had that same look on his face. Just watch that fight again.

All the old timers would seriously be no match. Let's look at another heralded slugger from the past..... people hype him up to be the greatest slugger of all time. George Foreman. 6'4, 215 lbs, 2 left feet, swings from the hips with no guard. Only has gas for 8 rounds. In his prime, went life and death with Ron Lyle and got outslugged by Jimmy Young. 1 punched by Cassius Clay.

So we've established, Vitali is much bigger, has better stamina, has better technique and has a better chin than Foreman. Foreman would get blasted out.

Now that we've established that Vitali really is a much better version of Foreman. We can all agree he'd smash Marciano, Dempsey, Frazier, Liston, Floyd Patterson and all those little dudes. It isn't even debateable of you had a brain.

And Tyson who is 5'10. Vitali is 6'8. how the **** is Tyson going to reach Vitali's face? Vitali would stop Tyson by standing hammer fists. It's a physical mismatch.

Let's all agree at the end of the day that Vitali is really the best HW right now and for the last decade. The only reason his brother has all the accolades is because Vitali allowed him to. Vitali is a gracious older brother who does not feel the need to compete with his own younger brother whom he loves... but if **** hits the fan you can bet your ass Vitali lays down the big brother beatdown.

btw Vlad whether you like it or not is a first ballot HOFer. yet the general consensus is Vitali beats him...... that should tell you how good he is. period.
GREAT P[OST & STRAIGHT TO THE POINT... HATERS CAN'T fathom THis so they just talk about how clumsy he looks & the com petition he never faced..while losing to the two best fighters he ever faced..completely dismissing all the intangibles.. numbers & proof that he was the one laying down the blueprint & the beatdowns to both fighters he lost to ONLY & I REPEAT ONLY because his physical health failed towards the end of both bouts he was winning convincingly.

Let me give you an example why your argument doesn't hold water. Manny Pacquiao hands down is a much greater fighter than any Klitschko, yet he doesn't win 90% of the rounds he's ever fought. Why? Because he's faced much better competition. He doesn't fight one bum after another. He may not have a KO ratio as high as the Klitschko's, but that's all for the same reason he's fought much better fighters. You looking at the statistics from the Bums the Klitschko's have beat and using them to asses their greatness, which is flawed.

That's because the HW division is weaker than any other division right now.

There's NO argument from me..... he's more than proven it..who else ONLY gets beat when there physical health fails.. who else is 6ft 7 with his skills & advantages.. He's the favorite in every mythical head to head matchup against anyone in history because it's him that's going to dictate the action..it's as simple as that. Lennox saw he couldn't dictate against him & resorted to a brawl because he had no choice,,, that was the only option left for him. Vitali had too much respect for him.... he should've followed up & taken him out in the 2nd rd when LL was on ***** street.

Well duh!!!!!he was a HW not a LW. The lower you go the less likely you will have 1 punch KO power. So in that sense Valero is more impressive. Plus Valero did it in 2 divisions not just one.

So when will the owning start?
Actually... i got owned there & went & checked & Vitali did it in 69 rds...2 more than Valero..... all the other points stand. It can't be more impressive knocking out less poundage... Vitali knocked out many more lbs so that means he knocked out much more flesh.... kapish!

              • Based on accomplishments and resume? No,he isn't.He most likely would have been without the injury that removed him from his prime and put him on the shelf for four years, but that's the way it is.

I'm not a big fan of Vitali's but I can see him posing a great threat to any heavyweight in history. There aren't many super heavyweights who have managed to combine great physical tools with ring smarts the way Vitali has.His ability to control the distance between he and his opponents is outstanding. His stamina is awfully impressive for a man that size, too.

Wladimir, without question is already a top ten heavyweight great, though.Truly one of the most underrated, unappreciated great champions of recent times.

Lennox Lewis was at his worst which is why he retired after that fight.

A prime Lewis would of beat Vitali.

YOu got jokes son? I was just going toe to toe with the Valero dude to show him how sill he is comparing lightweight knockouts to heavyweight knockout & I CAN ADMIT that Vitali's first 27 fights.... 60-70% of them were straight out cans. Oh & i'm a late bloomer..kapish!
