What the hell is "p4p" anyway? Isn't it all subjective? Sam Peter was a world champ, Briggs was a two-time world champ, they are HWs so you are not going to see them dance around like 154 pound Mosley but they also carry a lot more power and punch will end things from them unlike one punch from Mosley. Point is, given their respective divisions, Hopkins and Mayweather don't dominate like the Klitschkos. Now you claim blame the bad era, the fact that the "best US athletes are playing football and badmintion", blame whatever, but if you take a look at the competition that the Klitschkos are dominating and stopping cold, and take a look at objectively, you will see they are ATGs.

Just look at Chagaev and Ibragimov, both Olympic medalists, both undefeated, both world champs when Wlad fought them and they couldn't take a round off Wlad. He is not beating some bums off the street, he is beating some serious pros with serious amateur pedigrees.

Watch, Wlad will be P4P #1 in the world in a couple of years. Just remember you heard it here first.

while the nuthugger side is discrediting all the big names in heavweight history, the anti-klitschko side manages to keep up with them by doing the same thing with the current fighters in the hw-division.

No. Let's examine when Wlad beat an undefeated Sam Peter. Sam Peter was considered the next Tyson and a feared fighter, Wlad was coming two recent losses and was considered a dead-man walking. He actually asked for the fight even though his own brother, for the first time in his career, told him not to take the fight. He was a big underdog coming into the fight and most experts considered him a stepping stone for Peter. Wlad got off the canvas three times to win almost every round where he wasn't down in a dominant display. Wlad then dominated and stopped Peter in their second fight.

In terms of Vitaly, he was also the underdog, a guy coming off a four year layoff, late 30s, 2 knee surgeries, back and shoulder surgery, his first fight back he is fighting a champ with just one loss and loss where he had his opponent down 3 times at that, a guy almost 10 years younger than him. He made Sam Peter quit on his stool, not giving away a single round.

Let's take a look at Pascal and Hopkins now. First of all, Hopkins lost, so the comparison between him vs Pascal and either Klitschko vs Peter ends right there. Second, Pascal lost to Froch, who while good is not great, already loosing to Kessler, getting knocked down by shot Taylor, and having a marathon with Dirrell.

Now in terms of Mosley vs Briggs. Certainly accomplishment-wise Mosley has done more than Briggs but is the version of Mosley that a younger Mayweather fought the great version of Mosley? Or the shot version of Mosley? Still, Mosley hurt Mayweather in that fight and took some rounds off Mayweather. What did Briggs do to Vitaly other than land himself in the hospital for two weeks?

Nice one, that's right, a respected boxing ranking website has Vitaly just outside the top 10 and he is not even done fighting yet, and Wlad at #9. So I guess the Klitschko fans on here are right and all the haters have the sour g**** syndrome.

Part of the reason why the Ali moniker stuck was because he used it so much, he was a great boxer but certainly not "The Greatest".

Him claiming he was the greatest was not enough to convince anybody. If you knew Ali's career, as I do, you'd be aware of the fact that it wasn't untill after the Foreman fight that some people started coming around to the fact he was the greatest in history. Ali has proven him self far beyond what the Klitschko's have proven. When the going got tough, Vitali quit against Byrd. Wlad showed he couldn't recuperate from being hurt in the second round of the Sanders fight. Those are facts!

The haters like you laughed when Klitschko fans like myself claimed he was p4p the best fighter 4 years ago, yet look where he is at now, #8 p4p.

#8 is not that impressive. If he was #2 or #3, baybe it would be debatible if he deserved the #1 position. If Ali was around now, he'd probably be #1, but certainly in the top 2 position.
