everyone is too picky.
fighters fight a lot of fights.
not every fight has to be some superfight.
mosley is still a name. he's still ranked at 147. he's still a viable opponent for cotto at 154.
how many fights in a fighters career was pretty pointless? 70? 80? 90 percents.
just how it is.Comment

Well i think its kind of pointless because i think Arum would rather use Mosley to build fighters such as JCC up.everyone is too picky.

I mean i dont hate it but when fighters have rematches, there should be a reason for it and for this fight there really is no reasonComment

I believe that JMM did more to do deserve this fight hes beaten good oponents and is the best lightweight in the world atm. Mosley is 0-1-1 in his last 2 fights since when has that been enough to earn you a payday with the p4p kingComment

People dont realize how much Arum really hates GBP
Its not a little squabble, it is full on hate
If Arum wont even talk directly to GBP to negotiate Pac-Floyd, he's not gonna give GBP another chance at MannyComment

we'll see.
i think mosley will fight cotto or marg if not both after pac.Comment

nah! the biggest insult is what he did to himself when he allowed HBO to show to millions of viewers how he drinks his own piss nothing a promoter can do that can top that unless next time he lets them show him eating his own shietComment

How can Marquez fights TOP guys and knocking them out, if his last two fights were a mere Contenders in Lightweight Division?
Marquez after he lost to mayweather Jr went back to Lightweight Div. and never fought any Champions above 135lbs!
Whereas, Pacman after he won the 2nd fight with Marquez went on to beat Champions above 135lbs!
Marquez should prove his worth as a worthy challenger of Pacman by fighting those Champions wanting to face Pacman also!Comment

co-sign... aside from all that was mentioned above, the animosity between Top Rank and GBP is way too huge an obstacle to make this fight happen.JMM deserves a bigger payday than Mosley?
It all depends on what he brings to the table. Boxing is business, it is a sport but it is still big business. You get your share of the pie depending on your contribution to the business.
It is not what fights you won, and how you won them… it is how big an attraction you are. We can all shout here our praises for jmm’s accomplishments but the bottom line will always be “what you can contribute to the fight as a business.”
Floyd does not have a title right now, but will he still get a big chunk of the pie if he fights a boxing titlist other than pac? The answer here is obvious. So for those saying JMM should get a big pay than Mosley are missing the point.
He not only demanded 5M guarantee but also $5 per PPV above 500,000ppv. He is acting as if he is the main attraction. I also believe sharing is the least of his problem when it comes to Pacquiao rematch.
Granting that jmm lowers his demands, will he get the rematch?
As I have been saying all along, jmm blew his chance for a payday when he taunted and insulted pac. His unclassy approach to get the rematch has actually made it farther and farther from happening.
If you are the champ and the main attraction, would you give the man who insulted you a payday?
I don't agree with the Pac/Mosley fight but I can't help but notice how Mosley and Berto avoids personal attacks to get their payday with pacquiao. Those are classy approaches.Comment
