To say that Marquez over priced himself and then give the fight to Mosley for the same money or maybe more sounds hypocrytical to me.

Mosley hasn't beat anybody since the Margarito fight and Marquez has convincingly and looked really good winning his. But in the end boxing is a business

He didn;t win one round vs floyd. At 147 jmm is nothing.

Mosely won 1 round at least. Mosely drew at 154.

Mosely was number 1 welter but faced the best pure boxer today, one lost doesn't mean he's out of the 147 picture.

Of course he did. His only loss in his last 5 fights has been to the best WW in the world. Whereas Mosley got pummelled against Floyd after having a distinct advantage and looked worse in his next fight with Mora.

I guess a loss and a draw in your previous fights should earn you more money then a legit top 5 p4p fighter in the world.

ppl dont get it. if you're talking about who's going to generate more ppv buys, 90% of which comes from casual fans, then you have to look at who's more marketable and known to THE CASUAL FANS. and JMM aint it. sure he deserves a nice payday, but he really outpriced himself.

JMM wanted $5M PLUS $5 for every PPV over 500,000.

His purse in the floyd fight was only 3.2M PLUS only $1 for every PPV over 1,000,000.

basically he's asking more than DOUBLE his highest purse in a fight HE LOST.
