I wonder who had better attendance in Mosley's and Marquez's last fight? I know Marquez did something like under 5 K but I wonder how Mosley did. I'm not trying to sound like a smart ass but I would like to know. Maybe that had to do something with Arum not wanting to may Marquez that much.

Arum knows Mosley is a easy win while Jmm is a risk especially at 140.Now there trying to get Berto to beat Jmm at 147 what a shame.

Completely different scenarios. Mosley is a name that has market value, outside of hardcore boxing fans. Marquez could presumably make 5 million, yet his PPV upside is really unknown. I'm sure Arum looked at the PPV numbers of Mosley/Mayweather and came to the obvious conclusion. I don't believe this fight should happen period, however, I'm not going to go crazy overboard like some Mayweather fans who creamed themselves when Mayweather fought Jared from the subway commercial...oops I meant a blown up Marquez.

JMM wanted $5M PLUS $5 for every PPV over 500,000.

His purse in the floyd fight was only 3.2M PLUS only $1 for every PPV over 1,000,000.

basically he's asking more than DOUBLE his highest purse in a fight HE LOST.
