Because most casual fans and apperently the mainstream media don't give a *** what weight the fight is held at.

Catchweights are bad because they are a disadvantage to the naturally bigger guy, plain and simple. Why do you think Arum ad Roach want nothing to do with Pac shedding a few lbs to fight JMM?

martinez will come in heavier than Margarito by the simple fact that Martinez cant make the same 150 pound weight so let me get this right. Martinez having a clear 20 pound weight advantage is a legitimate fight? He was a career 154 pounder, 2 years ago, and 3 middleweight fights later he no longer is and lets be honest dibella talkied him into saying he can make it. money motivates people into doing all kind of crap that the body can't handle. An if pac wins lets also not forget the obvious excuse that you and everyone would make. "Martinez was weight drained he couldn't make the weight anymore blah blah blah"!!

Pac has fought the best in his weigh classes in fact he's fought the best in several diffrent weight classes while the Bradley/alexanders are still working on their first. See the diffrence?

Cotto wasn't affected by the weight, Margaritos wraps are irrelevent to his fight with Manny and he made the weight easily and the de La Hoya thing was his own god damn fault. He wanted the fight it's real easy in hindsight that manny a lightweight at the time should of fought ODLH at the junior welter weight limit now but wh the *** was asking for that 2 years ago before the fight happened?

No, Martinez said he CAN make the weight regardless of what you think someone "forced" him into saying. lol. YOU are clearly missing ALL of my points. I don't ever think Pac would actually fight Martinez, He's "too good". Its the point that Pac HOLDS a JMW title and might possibly defend it vs a WW. The point is he's fighting WW's in the JMW division.

With Cotto, of course it didn't effect him. Again YOU missed the point behind it. What makes it ok to fight De La Hoya AT 147/WW limit BUT NOT COTTO? Answer this please!

With Margarito (another missed point) was the fact that he fought Margarito in the first place. No justification for it. It was a disgrace, having or not having illegal hand wraps is irrelevant. The fight shouldn't have happened. Pac "selected" to fight a WW cheater for a vacant JMW title. Regardless IF it was at a catchweight or not. He "SELECTED" a certain fighter (cheater) AT a certain weight class AT a certain weight. Do you not understand this?

With Hoya, I already said it was Hoya's fault. I guess you missed that too. It was the POINT behind how Pac was so willingly to fight Hoya AT the WW limit but not Cotto.....

As for Bradley and Alexander. They shouldn't even be discussed. They where just on the bottom of the list that Mosley shouldn't even be on.
