I would say fighting guys coming off signature wins is a sign of bigger "balls" than fighting guys coming off loses or lackluster performances against lesser fighters.

Thats because Floyd would have to be fighting super middleweights to do what essentially pac is doing. You do realize that pac and Floyd are not the same size right? Seriously you guys make this harder then what it really is!

As a Pacquiao fan, I can't support this.

A) The fight itself is a pointless exercise with nothing to be gained beyond a payday (Marquez would be more lucrative). Mosley is not a threat to Manny outside of maybe the first 3 rounds and will get his face mangled. The sport doesn't need any more Ali-Holmes bouts. B) What the **** is the point of a 148 catchweight when they can just fight at 147?! It makes absolutely no sense. I thought everyone at team Manny said they were going to 147 and staying there, if Pac is going to defend the LMW belt, why didn't he take the Martinez fight?

This is ****ing disgraceful and I hope this farce flops at the box office and the gate, then maybe Arum and co. will get the message. But something tells me the casuals will flock to this and the bulls*t wheel will keep on turning. **** is shameful

Pac has 4 lineal titles, Mayweather has 3. And for the record, Mayweather has beaten 4 reigning lineal champions if you include Hatton, which Pac beat a year and a half after Mayweather. And like I've said, put a Pacquaio win on the table, I'll match it with a Mayweather win. And we'll see who stops first. That's the difference ebtween a true, hardcore fight fan like myself who's been following this sport for two decades son. I don't simply have a fighter I love, and one I love to hate. And I don't base my thinking on the opinions of writers and so-called experts who have agendas themselves. I've watched Mayweather and Pacquaio their entire careers. That's why I rip off fact after fact and all you can do is tell me what you think. I'm laying down a challenge right now. Place every so-called signature win of Pac's on the table, and I'll put down a Mayweather win to match it. Whoever stops first loses.

And before you start judging people, i have been a fan since the early 90s. one of my fav fighters of all time was naz, roy jones, holyfield, gatti. I have watched all the great fights. When i see something special and i see people trying to downplay the achievements i will defend it, because honestly we will never see a fighter like pac again and its a shame that fans like yourself cant appreciate what we have..

You see that's the problem. Floyd already tried to fight Cotto Bob didnt have it. Fighting Cotto NOW is some what pointless. Yes, back when Cotto was #1 at WW it would have been nice but not now. Clottey? NEVER. Floyd would be bashed. Out of the 3 Cotto would be the only one I would give him props for fighting. Again Clottey is shyt and only talked about AT WW because Pac fought him. Margarito is a disgrace. Floyd only gets props for beating the following....

1. Pac AT 147
2. Martinez AT 154
3. Berto AT 147

These 3 should be the only fighters Floyd should be talking about. Not Khan, not Cotto, not Clottey and certainly not Margarito. The last 3 are all Top Rank its not hard to question WHY certain fights arnt made. Just listen to Bob he'll tell you that he doesnt like to deal/share money with other people. We know he likes to keep it in house and if your not in house he wants more/the most money. Pac needs to get rid of Bob!
