      I belive the weight played a big part. The cut back down to 175lb, was just a incredible struggle for Roy. Especailly when he didn't nearly any fat on him at HW.

      Muscle is so much harder to cut than fat. Roy's body had been completey zapped. He was never the same fighter after the Ruiz fight.

      Credit to Tarver, but I always thought he certainly got Roy Jones Jr at the right time.

Griffin and Mc Callum frustrated him but with Tarver we saw the human version of Roy.


        Prime Roy Toys with Tarver all the way to a Ud. The same way Dawson did
        Good post. Tarver more or less shocked us. Tarver didn't ruin Jones. The move up and down from heavy debilitated his body, and at age 34 fighting or a hw title, and age 35 defending and beating Tarver should have been enough...
