That whole post-fight interview is classic. He was classy, funny, charming, modest but confident and witty. Had a little God in there, which is always hilarious when someone brings up God after whooping somebodies ass (so to speak).

      Antonio Tarver Post-Fight Interview, FTW.

        So was Tarver.

Yes, in thier 2nd fight jones was sharper than the 1st fight, but still not as sharp as he was before he went to HW(CWoods fight). In their 2nd fight, roy came out strong and he attacked with no hesitation, but it's clearly he wasn't the same anymore. Don't get me wrong, tarver has jones's numbers, and he will always cause some problems for jones even in his prime, but the fact is tarver was in the right place at the right time. And yes, tarver ruined jones mentally after the KO.

I think its suspect that after moving up and down from HW, Jones started getting KTFO by mediocre punchers.

Tarver wasnt a great one punch KO artist, and Jones chin was never that bad before. It wasnt even a huge punch that sent him down.

I gotta say, i think Jones wasnt the same after HW.

Jones was a lot sharper in the rematch than he was in the first bout but there were clear signs that he was no longer the same fighter. For starters, his legs were completely gone. He stood flat-footed right in front of a big, long powerful lefty like Tarver. He didn't even do that against Richard Hall. Second, Antonio Tarver is pretty effin good. And to the idiot who pointed out Tarver was 35 as well...yeah, except he had stopped boxing for many years and came into the Jones fights with, what, 20 fights under his belt? Logic helps.

Roy is heavily overated imo. It's like nobody can beat Prime Roy, yet he was fighting cans. Once Roy stepped up he supposedly was shot after gaining a couple of losses.

No doubt Roy was dynamite in his prime but Tarver was just all wrong for him, Period.
