Bute vs Kessler in 2011 ?

This document said that Bika & Meyer are the only boxer available.
The others are in the super six or injured.
Stieglitz doesnt want to fight Bute.He prefers to continue to defend his title in Germany.

My french is slightly rusty, but I thought the document says that he IS availbale, but that Bute wont pay what he demands. It's not like a negotiation. Bute just dont wanna pay.

Correct me if I'm wrong.




PS: I dont get why some would think Bute can KO Kessler. He has never ever been down let alone knocked out. Whereas Bute has been KTFO and on ***** street courtesy of lesser punchers than Kessler. That aside I think that would be a great fight. I hope Kessler recovers although there's still no improvement with the eye.

Bute can KO Kessler because he's slick, he's fast, he punches hard, to the head and body, Kessler isn't exactly what he used to be, he has been cut in his last 2 fights, and the slapper Joe Calzaghe hurt him really bad with a little right hook to the body (not even the best slapper's power punch, more like his weakest)

I wouldn't put much emphasis on Universum talking about a card in January. That's just smoke. They dont have a television agreement and Sartison is in no way a major player in the stable. I'm pretty convinced that money is the issue. I reckon Interbox can get Magee for the same amount they where willing to pay Sartison and their reasoning is probably that the canadians are somewhat indifferent towards a 'unification' with Sartison or a fight with the easier Magee.


I agree that Kessler has degressed somewhat. I hope it's due to his eyeproblem that he has taken so comparatively more punishment against Ward and Froch. IMO he took a lot of shots in those fights he wouldn't have taken in 2007. The power seems to be there still though, and that's bad news for Bute who has a questionable beard. Kessler's chin has been tested and that is like iron.

who cares about the unification with regular WBA champ Sartison ? this is BS, Ward is the WBA king, only his belt matters

Too complicated??? This note is from November. It's not about complicated. It's about money. Sartison is much better than Magee (who isnt that bad BTW), and I'd recommend you to watch his fight with Gevor which pretty much shows that Sartison is an excellent fighter and proves the gulf in class between the top dogs in Kessler and the B-level in Satison. So far Bute has looked outstanding against B and C level opposition and he seems disinterested in testing his skill against the top and this document underlines exactly that.

Interbox has little confidence in their cash cow. He has continually avoided the best available opposition for a reason.
