another fact : some fighters like Berto who face similar opposition in terms of quality don't get nowhere near the hate Bute is getting here

Why dont you tell us who you think Bute is going to fight. So far you've said that he signed with showtime since they had the best opponents and that you thought Bute would fight a supersixer after Magee.

Bute's next opponent will be a mis-match its the match after thats the key.

Its time for him to step up a level before the defining match-up against the Super6 winner.

I can see Showtime possibly doing a co-event on the same night as the Super6 final with Bute matching off against someone. what better way to hype up the eventual match up after that?

I wouldnt mind Bute vs. Kessler being that co-event. MK would have had a year and a bit of rest and would be a good test for Bute although you'd imagine he'd come out on top.

I believe Bute vs Kessler is happening when I see it signed. I suppose Bute has to fight an elite fighter sometime, but he has a history of milking his belt against B-level brawlers, so I'm not confident. It's a shame, as he might be the best at 168, he just hasn't proved it in the slightest.
