Why doesn't Hopkins get suspected of being a PED user?

Nobody questions his success because hes american.
Thats a fact.
Look at all of the americans who were caught under the current system,
how many of those guys were boxing fans screaming for to have better testing in their next fights?
None.

Lol, funny about this... My brother just suggested this to me right after we got done watching the fight.
But let's be honest, when u take care of ur body, 40+ isn't that old. And when u have the style of Hopkins, which is a careful controlled, usually unactive style, u tend to last longer. I have little doubt that if Floyd wanted to fight on till his mid 40's he would still dominate, becuz of his style.

Btw, Bernard doesn't have to do what Manny is doing.
How many fighters were dominating at the age of 45?
People were loving tonights fight because of Bernards domination.
Who, in the history of boxing, at the age of 45 has done that, over and over and over again?
Quit trying to equate steroid use to simply being about knockouts and power.
Its not.
You, just don't want to see what could possibly be.
Be naive.

Whether Manny got knocked out as a kid or not is irrelevant.
Hes always been a knockout fighter due to his style.
It doesn't have everything to do with being american, but it does have some. How many american fighters who tested positive for steroids were asked to undergo extra testing to ensure they were clean?
None.
btw, I've always maintained it was about style. Hopkins being american is only a part of the reason why hes given a pass.
Now, we have a non american fighter who is kicking ass left and right,
who is being suspected because hes still knocking out dudes,
in the prime of his career. Why does knocking out dudes in the prime of his career, after hes elevated his own skills and style, make him su****ious?
Since what Manny is doing isn't very common, and thats why his detractors love to denigrate him,
how common is what Bernard is doing? In the past 10 years, he has arguably lost only 1 fight. Even his most staunch supporters love to tout that. How is he able to do that between the ages of 35 to 45? What other fighters were virtually unbeaten at that stage in their career? How many other fighters had his endurance and strength at that stage in their career?
Bernard Hopkins is a former convict. Hes not beyond cheating for the sake of money.

Manny is lambasted for doing remarkable things in a boxing ring in his absolute physical prime.
Bernard is adored for it when hes well past his physical prime.
It doesn't matter to some people that Manny has the same work ethic, incredible trainer, and dedication to his craft.
All that matters to some is that Manny Pacquiao has kept his power and speed as he moved up as if thats some type of crime when you're aged 28 to 32.

Wasn't Archie Moore still beating people when he was like 50? This was back in the 50's or 60's too. Hopkins doesn't look that good when he's fought in the last few years, it's obvious he's fighting age in there, along with his opponent. His skills and ring smarts help keep him in there, and help neutralize the other opponents offense. He obviously conserves the amount of punches thrown, and looks visibly gassed at times. Not to mention he takes opportunities for rest, by faking low blows etc. I honestly don't think he's on anything...just hard work and determination.
