Andre was left out the pic as soon as Shane became free, but Al rebounded for Andre and got him the 1st Boxer known to beat Paul Williams. You cant knock Al or Andre for taking that fight IMHO.
Some people with agenda's like to forget that.....

With Mayweather "gone", Berto IS the man to beat right now AT 147.

Since Pac wants to fight AT 147 and going with the logic of "the best fight the best", Berto is the one Pac should be fighting.

There is nothing more to say about it. Unless you say Pac avoids the best and waits till a later date, i.e. Mosley and one could argue the case with Mayweather, Let alone Berto.

I like Mosley but he got his chance and lost it with Mayweather. Now its time to start doing what Pac is doing and fighting washed up fighters. Mosley should be fighting Clottey, Margarito, Judah, or even be a test for the Alexander/Bradley/Khan AT 147. Mosley in 2011 is a stepping stone at the age of 40.

I don't know how "old" Mosley really is...he doesn't perform like his usual self against defensive fighters, check the last 2 years for that (or his career). I don't think he'll be as "old" against an offensive minded guy like Pac, but that's just what I think. But he has aged, and b/c he has had 1 bad performance and another sluggish performance against Mora, I wouldn't want to see him in their with Pac. But Berto, c'mon dude, show some respect you punk f@ggot. You haven't done half as much as Shane has in half his career. Can't believe this dude "demanded" Shane step aside, what is that reverse psychology, are you provoking him not to?

Berto WOULDNT fight "MOSLEYS old ass" a year ago and he STILL wont fight "mosleys old ass"Berto is delusional ,in a division stacked, his ONLY TOP TEN fighter he faced was Luis Collazo who i believe won that fight. He NEVER gave Collazo a rematch .Lets be real here Berto has a pudding chin and employs the ILLEGAL tactic other weak ass chinned fighters ie.Andre Ward employ and thats hit then hold on let go real quick throw a few flurries then HOLD.God forbid a guy gets too close YOU GUESSED it he HOLDS.Thats why even though Berto is being seen by millions on HBO he still can't draw more than a thousand fans. His style is so CHEAP to the opponent and terribly unentertaining to the fans.I love it, Hatton who also struggled with a YOUNGER luis Collazo, had a weak chin and also used the old HIT AND HOLD.Andre-PAC-MAN IS TOO QUICK for your CHEAP illegal holding and your weak chin will suffer the same fate Hatton suffered PAC-MAN by a 5th round KO.

Getting weight drained again, he'll have no legs. Watch him get KO'ed like Hatton.
Mosley has gone up to 154 before, and he admitted after that particular fight that he's just not that same at the higher weights, he prefers 147...he's definitely not being weight drained, if they ask him to come in lower, then yeah, but until then he's just fighting in his division.

              Berto berto berto..............

He needs to fight better competition before even speaking Mosleys name let alone Pac...the kid aint done **** in his career, let alone his "championship reign"...He's fought bums since going life and death and getting the gift decision vs Collazo. I dont think his team even really believes in him. He is young, has decent skills, but he's never proven them against anyone of note.
I'd like to see him fight pac, only after he's proven his worth

Hernandez was a Mexican cop, but lost his job by taking the Berto fight.

Mosley may be old, but he has a much better chance against the big guys than Berto.

Maybe i'm underestimating berto, but i dont think he can bother Pac/floyd/cotto and mosley would probably beat him too. Hell i think the top 140 lbers would have a great chance against him
