    Those stoppages were pathetic.

no way a young calzaghe used to be a huge puncher before he hurt his hands. ko ratio=proof!

Shannon Briggs had several title runs where he fought dismal competition, to say the least..

i did say title fights not tune ups against bums. let's break it down.

              steve collins- lost
              steve collins- lost
              wharton- won
              schommer- gift decision
              costa- gift decision
              storey- knockout win
              ray close- gift decision
              rochigiani- won
              ray close- gift decision
              nigel benn- gift decision

not very impressive at all. some of the guys he's losing to aren't even world class fighters. schommer, costa, and ray close? eubank would throw in a good performance every now and then but his career was completely manufactured.

he made millions with his deal on sky and everyone tuned in to see him lose because of his glossy undefeated record. even when he did lose the judges still gave eubank the fight to keep the people tuned in and the money flowing. he was a sham just like sven ottke. the funny thing is he should have lost his 5th pro fight against a guy named james canty. it was all a farce from the get go.
